MEANWHILE

Thank you. :)

Brexiters like you I have respect for. There is nothing worse than a blind Brexiter or a blind Remainer for that matter.

Well Minny, here is some good news for you. If you recall, one of the many arguments put forward by Remainers was that hundreds of thousands of jobs in the City would move to Europe - Paris, Frankfurt, Dublin etc. Exactly the opposite is actually happening, with 1,441 companies from Europe that have never had a UK presence, now opening in the UK. This includes Italian companies. Good news right?

I agree with you Minerve, leaving the EU is a major risk, especially for the young people.
I voted to leave for many reasons but I've never looked on it like a football match, to be won or lost, like these fools do.

It is one thing winning a vote, it is much more difficult to win in real life. The real affects of Brexit are still to be witnessed. I'd rather be wrong and see the prospects and opportunities for my daughter's future improve than be proved right and see my concerns and fears come true. My daughter has put much hard work into learning Italian and other foreign languages as she builds up her skills for employment. I fear Brexit has already started to limit her opportunities to work, live and freely travel in the EU and that is now something my daughter and I have to accept.

brexit tells us :-

"Bloody hell. What’s been going on. I go out for a wonderful steak dinner to celebrate the signing of the Withdrawal Agreement by the wonderful Boris and the board goes mad."

Well, brexit ('I've had a wonderful steak dinner and I voted brexit and it's won'), it wasn't the board that went mad, it was getting. Just look again at his posts.
I suppose I can see why he needs to vent his anger on somebody or something after his disastrous week with Burford Capital.

Anyway, there's something very unpleasant about these two, brexit and getting. We know them as massive bragsters and now we also know them as nasty, sadistic gloaters. Yes, leaving the EU went ahead and you both voted for it, so I expect you now feel good as a member of the winning mob.

But for the sake of the rest of us on this board, just clear off and take your gloating elsewhere.

B+, absolutely! My office is full of ‘sneering metropolitan elite’ types who are wandering around in a daze, wondering how all those ‘thick, uneducated’ people in the rest of the country could possibly want to leave the EU!!

PS. Getting, isn’t it great when the “stupid, uneducated,” Brexiteers beat the stupid, overeducated, establishment Remoaners.

Minerve posts around 25 childish tit-for-tats every day, every week, every year. That’s 27,000 of them in the last 3 years.

K38 obviously hasn't even grasped what Hard-Brexit is. We are not in Hard-Brexit yet. That can only happen next January at the earliest! DUH!

From the Lloyds board...

Little Englanders couldn't influence Brussels so they run away and hide like little cowards.

I guess that is what Little Englanders do all the time. Run away and hide when the going gets a little tough for them. Oh, it is such a shame.

Well, you own Brexit now turkeys and Christmas is on its way. No blaming the EU or Corbyn.

I've got my popcorn ready. This should be good entertainment. ;)

That’s right Minny, don’t get involved in childish tit-for-tats. It’s not like you get involved in childish tit-for-tats all day, every day, every week, every year on multiple boards on ADVFN is it??!!

Be careful what you write getting. If you are going to inform us you have been doing this for more than two decades and you still don't know how negative bonds work it is going to reflect on you very badly.

I'm not going to get into a silly childish tit-for-tat. I know who the incompetent investor between us is. Enough said. :)

Well, I did warn the Burford fan boys many moons ago and was laughed at so I'm just going to have that smug smile on my face again. I haven't been in this business for over two decades for nothing.

Now, come on now, now come on.
Why can't we all just get along?

Turvart needs to be more patient with getting, who I understand has had a bad week with his Burford shares.

You’ll need to get Minny to send you it Turvart. If you read the original post you’ll see that I asked Minny how HIS bonds are. How would I have a link to HIS bonds?
It’s not that complicated Turvart, you just need to read carefully.

Gettingrichslow,

You posted:
"Minny, how are your negative yielding bonds doing? What sort of return have you had from them recently?"

From that comment and the fact I've asked you on several occasional times to post the link to the bonds you refer to so I can research them, that you actually know nothing about the bond market! If you did then you would of posted the link.

Let me let you into a little secret with how bonds actually work gettingrichslow, when the yield on Bonds goes down, like you state, then the bond value price is more!

To make it easier for you to understand it's like a stock going up in price but the dividend yield going down.
