i know that - its basically what they said in their trading statement - what i'd like to hear is about reports from the feet on the ground.

could someone report on how McColls shops are doing from the ground? Do they appear to get more or less clients than before? What control and safety measures are they taking?

If they are selling it is a bit late now.

Still holding near 12% though.
Chairman buying is a good sign. Better if it was CFO though.
A tick up before close would be a good day, setting us up for an attack at 28p tomorrow.

Very healthy vol the last few days and weighted towards buyers.

Wonder if Aberforth is a market cap issue. In which case, more selling to come.

I don't see them closing many if any except in the case of staff illness problems.

1375 shops 1000 of which are centered more around being convenience stores.

how many shops do they have currently? And is there a risk that they could decide to close seeing that food is just a part of their mix?

Breaking out in style now. Should be good for 35-39p

Yes, a small tick up at the end. Due to increased spending in local neighbourhood shops, people needing food at home because they are now working or stuck there, business rates help and possibly gov backed loans. I cannot see any reason why this would not go back to 35p at least just for a start. Plus a certain company has supply chain and branding already in place.

Lol indeed.

24p not a bad close in truth.

Yes, this is a big opportunity for them. Whoever they may be?

Does feel like an attempt to push it down late each day - can only hope that's because a certain large supermarket doesn't want it to climb too much ;)

Absolutedly @humphb. Are you perhaps a big Woodford fan, here to troll me?

Oh yes - I see a load of posts on BUR & WPCT/SUPP - how have those been going for you?

Perhaps you could buy some MCLS, maybe make some money back :)

No advice intended, of course.

This will widen the catchment area of the stores further.
