28/3/2020 18:47 | i know that - its basically what they said in their trading statement - what i'd like to hear is about reports from the feet on the ground. | farrugia

28/3/2020 11:53 | could someone report on how McColls shops are doing from the ground? Do they appear to get more or less clients than before? What control and safety measures are they taking? | farrugia
25/3/2020 16:47 | Nice finish. | mr roper
25/3/2020 15:58 | If they are selling it is a bit late now. | totalgeek69
25/3/2020 15:57 | Still holding near 12% though. Chairman buying is a good sign. Better if it was CFO though. A tick up before close would be a good day, setting us up for an attack at 28p tomorrow. Very healthy vol the last few days and weighted towards buyers. | mr roper
25/3/2020 15:57 | Wonder if Aberforth is a market cap issue. In which case, more selling to come. | spectoacc
25/3/2020 15:53 | And Aberforth selling | strutt12
25/3/2020 14:16 | Yes, indeed. | totalgeek69
25/3/2020 13:57 | Is that the Chairman buying? | mr roper
25/3/2020 12:42 | I don't see them closing many if any except in the case of staff illness problems. | totalgeek69
25/3/2020 12:33 | 1375 shops 1000 of which are centered more around being convenience stores. | totalgeek69
25/3/2020 12:24 | how many shops do they have currently? And is there a risk that they could decide to close seeing that food is just a part of their mix? | farrugia
25/3/2020 10:12 | Breaking out in style now. Should be good for 35-39p | mr roper
24/3/2020 17:15 | Yes, a small tick up at the end. Due to increased spending in local neighbourhood shops, people needing food at home because they are now working or stuck there, business rates help and possibly gov backed loans. I cannot see any reason why this would not go back to 35p at least just for a start. Plus a certain company has supply chain and branding already in place. | totalgeek69
24/3/2020 16:57 | Lol indeed. 24p not a bad close in truth. | spectoacc
24/3/2020 16:36 | Yes, this is a big opportunity for them. Whoever they may be? | totalgeek69
24/3/2020 16:32 | Does feel like an attempt to push it down late each day - can only hope that's because a certain large supermarket doesn't want it to climb too much ;) | spectoacc
24/3/2020 16:16 | Well, you got that right. | totalgeek69
24/3/2020 11:51 | See if it can not get whacked back at the end of the day for once. | spectoacc
24/3/2020 11:17 | Breakout coming. Next stop 35-39p | mr roper
24/3/2020 10:05 | Absolutedly @humphb. Are you perhaps a big Woodford fan, here to troll me? Oh yes - I see a load of posts on BUR & WPCT/SUPP - how have those been going for you? Perhaps you could buy some MCLS, maybe make some money back :) No advice intended, of course. | spectoacc
24/3/2020 09:47 | Specto, do you have any idea at all what you are continually wittering about? | humphbumph
24/3/2020 07:54 | This will widen the catchment area of the stores further. | lukehold |
