janekane,

Why have you highlighted the debt but not the assets?

Jane.

Thank you for your efforts.

Your subsequent sarcasm is however unappreciated.

I did not ask about their debt. That is only too obvious and only too plain to see with or without specsavers.

I asked about their BANKING COVENANTS.

My question couldn't have been clearer.

It would appear that you are not familiar with the term BANKING COVENANTS.

To use your own sarcastic words " Is there a specsavers by you?"

ALL IMO. DYOR.

jane.

do you know please what Marston's precise (on balance-sheet) banking covenants are as you clearly have a good understanding and grasp of the details of Marston's significant debt burden?

I had a look at the annual report but couldn't spot the exact banking/debt covenant structure.

thanks.

The debt and the structure of paying twice the value of the assets they put up to cover these loans ??

the market will not give MARS the recognition that trading in all pub companies is good compared to last year
The debt and the structure of paying twice the value of the assets they put up to cover these loans is keeping our share price low
The city do not like the way this company is run and its cash generating way of getting these loans
Time for change at the top

10% is not too shoddy. Alot of the mid cap shares dropped today such as QLT but FOOT got a bit perky.

Annoying fall. Although GNK on the same slide.

Assume issue is retail figures mean interest rate rise more likely.

There was no support there today. I bought loads intraday as I thought it would bounce given strength of FTSE. Closed the lot in the auction for a loss. Don't want them overnight as I'm not in front of the screen tomorrow and it's witching.
