The next week is probably the last chance to buy Mars shares below £1.

I bought May 2010 @ 95.6p, so no growth, but dividends totaling 55p

= 6.3% historic, 7+% going forward.

JDW is Up over 60% in the last 5 years, compare that to MAB, MARS or GNK,
to be frank it's embarrassing. Tim is rated for a reason, he produces results.

I think that's why JDW share price is struggling today.

However, given that RPI is 2.5%, it's only really 1.5% he really has to find. I find it a little surprising though. I'm not sure what additional new costs he's got coming through that are special to JDW. Maybe the brewers are putting up prices faster than inflation!

Mentioned yesterday there was a marked difference between MARS v MAB
price performance over 2016-2018, just looking back on a 3 year view
it's much more similar in terms of % decline.
