27/8/2024 18:14 | The brewing asset converted to cash which pays down debt so does not affect the 100p NAV per share which is the pins and hotels they own. That transaction means debt repayments are £18 million less which along with falling interest rates are really going to push profits higher in the coming years. This share should continue to rise in the coming weeks imo | blueclyde
27/8/2024 08:17 | The brewing op made up around 20% of the assets. Let's stop being silly. | wigwammer
23/8/2024 17:02 | blueclyde that was the whole of their brewing operation since that offer not just the remainer sold recently. Of course the offeree could not have been interested in Marstons because it had a brewing operation ... ? | fenners66

22/8/2024 17:40 | I am guessing as per this post you are a bit salty as it is nearly 50 percent up and you have sold at already? | blueclyde
22/8/2024 17:38 | They absolutely have. But they own most of their own properties for which the NAV is over 100p a share. The sale will save debt repayments of 18 million a year which will result in at least the same amount of profit. Interest rates are now falling so the debt costs will start to fall pushing the NAV per share higher. Perhaps even a dividend announced which next set of results. | blueclyde
22/8/2024 17:35 | blueclyde I assume you have no idea that they have sold their brewing operation to Carlsberg since that offer... | fenners66
22/8/2024 16:21 | I can see this hitting a 100p a share pretty quickly. Was surprised to see in my research that it knocked back a bid during COVID of 100p a share as it undervalued the company. It just seems ridiculous it is this price currently but the tide has turned again in debt and interest rates so should do well from here. | blueclyde
