The government is estimating that up to 90% of Retail properties could benefit.

Does anyone know of any pub companies with a significant presence outside the South East which are going to have a lot of properties with a rateable value of £51,000 or less?

I can think of one, the rateable value of business premises is public information and £51,000 rateable value is not a current market value and will include a lot of pubs especially outside London/SE.

Anyone have any ideas if the business rates cut will help benefit any/some/all Mars pubs? Hopefully the 4.9% wage rise will filter back into the tills.

Good morning. So, we've broken through 100 against the trend of the FTSE.

I'm not sure why but sentiment seems to have changed. Certainly MAB, GNK, JDW are not going up with MARS. Perhaps it is seen as a safe haven

I conclude whoever was selling has finishing selling and the conviction of the remaining holders seems high as it's going up on low volume.

Selling some of the assets would ease costs
IE breweries to housing
Undeveloped land to houses
No more build then lend lease property's costing 3 to 5 times initial costs over 35/40 years
Cut costs ,directors bonus 'cut divi to reflect 4% of SP
Concentrate on selling rooms at competitive prices
If the city see these being implemented we should get a vast improvement in institutions like the Germans buying into our company
The share price in 2024 could be treble today's
Unfortunately the CEO will not change his plans

Cost of Annual Dividend is £44 million - eliminating that is hardly going to make impact into reducing the debt.
