13/1/2023 07:28 | Better a slow recovery than no recovery. Today's RNS - if you look through all of the negativity of 2022, the update points to a lot of positive comments that the market has turned the corner with pent-up demand now that Covid-restrictions have been suddenly lifted. | quepassa

10/1/2023 16:31 | Page 9 today, FT. near full-page article on Macau headed: " MACAU BETS ON BECOMING GLOBAL TOURISM HUB - Big casino operators will invest $15bn over 10 years with more than 90% to be spent on non-gaming developments. " A likely major stimulus for the property sector. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
10/1/2023 13:50 | Using the September NAV of US$1.65 per share, at today's fx rate of 1.21 that gives a current NAV of some 136p. Even if Macau property values were to have fallen a little since September (and I don't know if they have), the Discount to NAV is in the order of 60-65%. Against the re-opening of China, Hong Kong and Macau, the discount of 60-65% versus share price looks grossly overdone - even accounting for the weak HK property market. ALL IMO. DYOR. 09/1/2023 05:08 | Yeah, have heard about Mrs. Tina - not much of her trading has gone right recently and she has taken to hanging around across the bridge in Wan Chai wearing a mini-skirt and lots of make-up. For her day job she guts fish in Coloane. However she does use her income to accumulate MPO :-) | livewireplus

05/1/2023 17:24 | 22/12/22 - #BREAKING HKSTV says China will cut its inbound COVID-19 quarantine to just a three-day home quarantine by January 3, which means the country will be fully open starting in 2023. Implications to Macau - huge! | videologic

04/1/2023 12:08 | Bit of a jump the last few days, and widening of spread. You can sell for over 50p though doubtless Che will want to ask advfn if that's ok. Presumably to do with general opening up in the region. | zangdook
28/12/2022 11:27 | Macau, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and South Korea were the most popular destinations.https:/ | livewireplus
05/12/2022 14:13 | ....someone who has never heard of a live price feed.... oh dear! that speaks for itself | quepassa
05/12/2022 14:00 | yet somehow I manage to get better prices and a narrower spread than you... 46.41 - 47.3 (btw you forgot to vote down post 847) | zangdook
05/12/2022 13:23 | "I know nothing about "feeds" " Wow. If you are not even familiar with the standard financial term of a "live feed" - you really oughtn't be fiddling around in traded securities. I guess dummies would place dummy trades. The BIG PROBLEM with placing dummy trades - is that you DO NOT KNOW if your broker is giving you a good price. You are getting their price - not necessarily the market price. THAT IS WHY IT IS ESSENTIAL to cross-reference a broker's price with a DIRECT LIVE FEED PRICE from the stock-exchange to make sure you are getting a good price from a broker. It is clear that if you have never heard of a "live feed" for prices and that you rely purely on dummy trade prices that you really don't understand how prices work. oh dear. | quepassa
05/12/2022 12:59 | I get the prices by placing dummy trades with my broker. They are the actual prices available to me at that moment. I know nothing about "feeds" - I'm not a farmer. | zangdook
05/12/2022 12:49 | no no no. zangdook is a cheapo user with delayed price feeds. his information is inaccurate. | quepassa
05/12/2022 12:34 | Your information is inaccurate QuePassa | spooky
05/12/2022 12:29 | my feed is a LIVE direct from the stock exchange as a paying VALIDATED user/subscriber with 100% LIVE prices via ADVFN you obviously have a delayed feed. It's clear that you are an UNVALIDATED non-paying subscriber and clearly get delayed price feeds. you can tell who the serious investors/subscriber perhaps you should consider becoming a paying/validated subscriber so you can get live prices. | quepassa
05/12/2022 12:18 | perhaps you should change your broker | zangdook
05/12/2022 12:09 | no no no. you must be looking at a bad feed. the price is 45 - 47.3 and contrary to being a close spread as you erroneously describe, this is a very wide spread | quepassa
05/12/2022 11:54 | 45.41-46.3 now. It must be fluctuating | zangdook
05/12/2022 11:34 | no no no. on the contrary. very wide spread 44 - 46.40 more than 5% | quepassa |
