02/2/2023 10:58 | With good, solid companies curently with yields of ~8% it's hardly surprising we're in 'rip not dip' mode. Not really ripping though is it? A FTSE at 9000 would be more like it. UK shares still hugely undervalued. | woodhawk
02/2/2023 09:38 | I would agree Jim that the markets make no sense right now as we continue to rip not dip as was expected by many at the start of 23. I hold all those you mention but did take a very nice profit earlier today from PHNX via my GIA. I will add on a dip via my ISA though as I think there is more in the tank there and here too. Good luck all 👍🏻 | tuftymatt
02/2/2023 09:24 | Am holding this as one of an unholy triumverate having bought in at 202 When I sold my phnx The other part of the unholy alliance in the equation being lgen My strategy is to always hold one of the three and swap back and forth as and when Any way contrary to the prevailing consensus I see more upside in mng than the others with the uncertainty caused by bonds debacle of a few weeks previous Is very simple strategy and if and when my feeling change will remit There is method in my madness staying out of insurance until situation becomes more lucid This market makes no sense to me Good luck all | jubberjim

17/1/2023 07:20 | It was, but the down-voter didn't like it - perhaps somebody who doesn't know what Devro do? | ianguerin

14/1/2023 21:31 | MNG reduced their skin in the game, rather than wait for the Devro takeover to complete | ianguerin
13/1/2023 17:37 | Just looks like someone has reduced a holding by circa 10%. Perfectly normal. | woodhawk

12/1/2023 00:03 | I suspect they will slightly increase final dividend to 12.3p, at a cost of 290 million pound. After all they will lose interest on 500 million quid. Although given how fast they completed the buyback, they must be a wash with cash. | 2wild |
