If the cash value of the final divi is maintained at £311m, that will convert to 13.2p

That was the dividend intention under the previous CEO.
While the Board has not changed there is a new CEO and he may want some of that cash for “investingR21; in the business.

My inner voices are telling me this mng and adm are screaming buys but my ultra cautious nature says we might have a bit further to fall so will wait and keep a keen eye on developments

Interesting that reduction in rules on banks follows relaxation on solvency margins. This should benefit M&G sitting on a £100bn with profits fund, who have decades of experience in alternative assets, all the contacts etc. What's not to like about a well managed business catering for the age 60 plus market, yielding 10%?!

Just doubled up here at 181.79p giving a 10% yield after commission and stamp duty. Before any increase in dividends going forward,, which I think is likely.

I want to buy cheap, gbh2, NOT expensive. I'm potentially buying many years of income here. Any capital gains are a bonus on top! I'd gladly have bought more for a 15% yield. After all this time, you still don't seem to have got the hang of this! My average return is 17% p.a. Over the last 8 years, I've tripled my pot. You do what you like, and I'll keep on keeping on.
