Price being moved on minuscule volume, Market Manipulators playing their games.

Yes its pretty much as I thought except....... first quarter was quieter than I thought...........

we are 4 months into the new year and I feel things will improve dramatically from this point forward.

That said I think we will be taken out in the next 2 years ( I am hoping at 200p plus )

Results much as anticipated, confident going forward.

Extract from chairman's statement:

Outlook

The start of the current financial year was challenging, but, as the quarter progressed the pace of activity has accelerated. As previously reported, our order book has recovered strongly, and our order pipeline and our funnel of opportunities are encouraging at home and abroad.

We expect good progress throughout the rest of the year and beyond. We are pleased that uncertainty over Brexit has reduced. We have a strong long-term order book, a strong balance sheet, a skilled workforce and valuable experience in importing and exporting. We expect challenges, but we look forward to the future with confidence.

Just read through it. Reads very well...got to like 'increasing confidence'.
See if the broker changes forecasts.

Great a new word, Surge. Still better than galloping I guess.
Looks like to me that the delayed orders have rolled into this year swelling the OB by the delayed amount. Let's see if any new announcements come in the next 4 months then we will be able to measure the Surge. Good luck all.

They only sad thing around here from what I can see is being a shareholder! Oh and having a dim witted opinion that only folk who currently have a share interest can post, yes thats sad too!

I've long been baffled why any individual (whom isn't a shareholder) appears to get some kind of kick out of trashing a company or one of their shareholders ..... they must have really sad lives.

Think someone's jealous of you CT. It's rather sad that someone could feel so enraged towards a poster on the Internet who has aided so many others with such informative posts/info/tips, unlike the other 99% of dross on these bbs. Thanks CT, your a good man.

Why the aggression ?

You are wrong actually. I hold 200,000 from the 30/34p days bought at a secondary placing many years ago.

I have some that cost me more than the current price, yes.

If you read my posts you will see I am the first to admit a failure. CVR was one.

Once again the ADVFN chart appears to be out of touch with sells being transacted at c.94p with buys at c.96p. No sign of the large sale that I thought might appear (L) ate.

many many years since I bought in about 30p.
Of course I have bought since as well.

Certainly had better but I still think the best is to come.

Just needs shaking from its slumber.

According to ADVFN, 52k shares bought and 17k sold this morning but the price still hasn't recovered; suspect the Market Manipulators may be holding back a large sale so that it doesn't upset the market!! As tends to be their normal practise, will one be disclosed just before the market closes tonight?

I expect break even in the numbers coming next week.

However I feel there is /are a few upgrades to come from a low starting point of 7.9p eps.

Not a fan of these statements that are confusing.
I am guessing the new contract was the only reason we got the news?

Agree re comments. Very unhelpful in my view. All I can assume is 2019 was poor and they didn’t want it to come as a shock in the results. Let’s see

What happened to the Year end preliminary results? Compare this update with prelim's of 2019 and 2018. Also, Q1 order entry of £6.4m, but RNS failed to mention 2019 Q1 order intake £9m! I started selling this morning, the first sale at 100p and my last at 91p. Now out.

Dummy trades indicate it is difficult to sell in quantity, I like the company and their products but with present information I just class it as a strong hold.

StockStracker

I agree.
I do find this system of jumping from sales to orders confusing.

Orders can be cancelled or delayed as they were last year. Its not helpful to grasping how the company is doing.
I am in Castleford just 2 miles from their Normanton depot.

I am a long term holder and feel LPA will be snapped up sooner rather than later.

I have hopes that we are going to smash forecasts for current year.
