yump - Interesting thought - but what could be the worry? (imo) Could this be the deep pockets of the major US competitors enabling them to drive LOOP out of business by significantly under cutting their pricing.

I really don't get why this has fallen so much. They can make a loss in the second half and still have decent earnings for the year, seeing as at interims they had 10p+ earnings. Unless there is some sort of hit to come in the exceptionals.

Bit suspicious that it started falling significantly before the trading update, which makes me think that its not only the trading statement that worried some folk.

Just flagged up as a buy on my screen so decided to take a position at this level. I believe the 'stickiness' of loop once professionally adopted is compelling (but I appreciate those who differ). The upside from here outweighs any further fall imo.

That would be a 1/10th of where they were three years ago.

LOOP is now considered a "contrarian" stock on Stockopedia - i.e. quality is high, value is high, but momentum (as we are well aware) has fallen off a cliff...

As mentioned earlier, I believe this stock is miscategorised, and they have changed their business model. It's no longer a competitor to MS Teams / Zoom etc, but a complement to MS Teams for professional services.

Lol the information is in the RNS
Non PS is declining compared to PS is increasing , the balance between the two is a increase of 5.16%
So growth next year increasing , not including the MS add on customers.
Webex still contributes as well $6 million

Good luck increased my stake to double and still in profit as bought at lower end last year

Would you not agree that the current broker forecast are for a loss of £1.3 millioin year ended 31/12/2021 - if brokers are expecting losses why should we expect something different. At a minimum it seems like the company are not exactly helping themsleves in this department.

On the surface this company reminds of relatively small and new company i once I had dealings with, Salesforce. The professional services route for their run of the mill CRM services, certainly worked for them.Brand prestige is what sells itself, if the big boys use your services, everyone else will. Everyone want's to be a big boy, play with big boys and use big boy toys.

The number of trolls on this board is unreal ha. Can't get the obsession in spending countless hours for months deramping a company they haven't invested in unless they have a hidden agenda- Sad weirdos!

Anyway, this is a letter from the CFO someone just posted on Twitter:

"You will be aware that all of the board are shareholders, with the two Co-CEOs holding over 9% between them. Also, all directors and senior management are incentivised through option schemes and so are fully aligned with the interests of other shareholders as you would expect."

Not a basket case but there may be a better entry price.50p is the long term support level. It's certainly undervalued but who's buying now?

Plat Hunter and Sam_ - the front page of the company website ( puts the emphasis very much on their tie up with Microsoft Teams.

"Move your organisation to secure and reliable cloud communications with LoopUp’s fully managed global solution for cloud voice via Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and premium remote meetings."

Loop are well aware that MS Teams have pulled the rug from Zoom's business, let alone theirs. By that, I mean small to enterprise companies. Zoom's customers are primarily tiny outfits and sole traders (I should know, I'm one). Anyone larger has MS Office 365 and the push to just use what comes with MS is relentless. Zoom is very much a Covid-19 play, and will lose out when life returns to some form of normality (accepted with an increased degree of WFH). There appears to be a huge misunderstanding that LOOP is vulnerable in the same way, IMO. It's clear to me that LOOP have carefully and proactively moved away from that model to concentrate on voice integration with MS Teams.

Personal services need secure, high quality voice calls to any destination in the world, including mobile. LOOP provides this, and is an MS Partner - i.e. MS points their customers towards LOOP (and its competitors elsewhere in the world) for those who want a premium voice network. Note that this telephony is not primarily for WFH, but for reaching customers, and professional services (think lawyers) need a secure, clean quality line to any client, anywhere in the world - right from within MS Teams.

LOOP put it more clearly than I ever could, right there on their front page:

"LoopUp – the perfect complement to Microsoft Teams
The use of Microsoft Teams for internal team collaboration is growing rapidly. And many enterprises are now considering using Teams for business telephony to reduce operational complexity and costs.

"LoopUp is a trusted partner to more than 5,000 enterprises, including 20 of the world’s top-100 law firms. Our solution interconnects in the cloud with Microsoft Teams using Direct Routing, providing premium quality inbound and outbound calls and best-in-class external remote meetings.

"The solution is delivered as a secure global fully managed service with differentiated quality and reliability, caring 24/7 multilingual support, and deep domain expertise."

The announcement that non-PS is more "challenging" than thought earlier (i.e. the transition is happening quicker than expected) led to the fall at the end of November.

GLA!

Plat Hunter:

LoopUp offers a video conferencing platform to businesses. Unlike Zoom, the firm is specifically targeting the professional services (PS) market. This includes the legal, financial, and client-led business sectors.

Some of their PS clients: NHS, McLaren, Q-Financial, Centerbridge, KIA, Travelex, etc.
