In a way you are right but he had to fork out capital to hold his position in Deltic Energy which was 10% or just under. He bought that stake around 1p so he could sell a few and then use the LBE loss on the CGT calculations.

That's my assessment on Mr Sneller..........

Yes he's bailing for a loss of millions. Longboat's discoveries still worth more than they paid for them when you factor in the 78% rebate they get on all exp expenses, so odd in a way that he's happy to drive the price right down and keep selling at ever greater losses

Quite happy to buy these at 26p.Looks oversold to me at 16m market cap..Ps I sold at 43p thought there was a little too much success in the price but at 26p there iz almost nothing.

The broker note a few months back had all the cos in the different oil fields/ gas fields they wee going to drill, and they all had a very low chance of success. Glad i use my judgement based on this one factor - even though if they all came in the NPV was pretty high - however practically the chances that all the exploration oil/gas all prove commercial was very low

The annual cost of maintaining the QUOTE - BROKER - PR at a M/C of £16m makes for a case of selling off the assets and return the cash to shareholders UNLESS you have someone who wants to use the SHELL for a similat and profitable venture - STIFEL the current brokers may have ideas.

Another duff result that'll go nowhere. They're 'funded' for 2 more spins of the dice if I remember. Copernicus and Velocette both with low CoS. Surprised they plan to drill these prospects that are so far north over winter/spring.Will they raise funds beforehand? Will they even be able to and at what price?

I doubt if the company has sufficient cash left to carry on.

Due a rebate but that will have to be paid to their bank so does that mean that they have to ring their brokers and raise more capital. If so then count me out.

In the meantime who has been the big seller over the last month and today?

Explains the recent volume spikes on the chart.

Of which I must say......ECO had a 3 day volume spike last week......fingers crosed for an oil discovery there.
