Interesting news relevant to Norwegian E&P from this morning's Auctus note: "Lundin going back to Norway upstream – Attica Energy (backed by the Lundin family) is acquiring 99% in Concedo. Concedo holds exploration licences in Norway."

Something I got from the presentation was the mention /possibility of Third Party financing ..something that Cenkos mentioned a few weeks ago in its review note.
When you have a partner like Japex involved for financing you are bound to have Third Parties interested in taking an interest.

The one thing I missed /was expecting was...are they reapplying for the Egyptian Vulture license?

Well, the mm’s have just bid me the mid for all mine. So currently, the mkt likes it. Which it bloody well should.

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has given its approval to the formation of the Joint Venture, which was the key regulatory approval sought, and completion of the transaction is now expected to occur in the first half of July 2023.

Excellent news ...$16m follows from Japex of course.

There's a Japex announcement this morning about Japex doing a joint study with three other companies (including Petronas) regarding carbon capture and storage solutions for C02 originating in Japan:

This has nothing to do with LBE or its Malaysian Block 2A, but merely shows that Japex are doing stuff in Malaysia and have a CCS-related commercial connection with LBE's Malaysian co-partner, Petronas.

Once LBE do their deeper analysis, could Japex become a potential farm-in partner for LBE's Malaysian Block 2A offshore Sarawak with material gas resource potential (LBE (operator 36.75%), Other partners in Block 2A: Petronas, Petros, Topaz)?

Japex also have an AGM on June 27th ( LBE's AGM is on Thursday this week.

Can LBE/Japex get their Norwegian JV completed on or prior to one or both of their AGMs?
