07/10/2022 08:10 | Richard Sneller has sold shares and his holding falls from 5 to 4% which gives him a huge loss on his original investment. Over at Deltic his holding is now 9%+ which is also down as he did not take up his full offer but with Lord Spencer there combined holding at 28% more than controls that company. There are so many opportunities out in the market for nimble investors and that includes the LBE team............they just have to go for a few North Sea assets in the latest round - out today by Jacob the new North Sea King. | anley

25/9/2022 15:53 | Sounds like this well alone could be worth north of £100m to Longboat. Current Mcap is £25m. Question to be answered in November - is Oswig a very large discovery, or a monster discovery? | arcteryx
23/9/2022 13:33 | Tune produces mainly from the Tarbert*, so sounds a positive. Hefty tax relief on Norwegian explo, but still a positive, imvh, that they're going to the effort & cost of drilling an ST * hxxps://www.norskpet | thegreatgeraldo
23/9/2022 09:34 | Well you were right to tell us to watch out.......well done LBE as they needed to come up with a surprise. Next week the LBE team will be in London and they should be presenting us with how they see the company performing over the coming months. | anley
23/9/2022 09:29 | It seems clear that we have an II who uses any rise to sell into. Expect it's one of the ones who got in at the start (late 2019) and has since bowed to green pressures to be more woke and reduce investment in O&G sector. Irritating, but continues to present buying opportunities for those of a less hysterical sensibility | ripvanwinkle3
23/9/2022 07:56 | Looks a positive update. | avsome1968
23/9/2022 07:28 | Looking good - Oswig above mean estimates in Tarbert formation.. | arcteryx

15/9/2022 15:56 | The Copernicus exploration well on licence PL1017 was dry. The well failed to encounter any effective reservoir. This was a high risk well. • Drilling was much quicker than anticipated. As a result, the cost of the well was materially under budget, suggesting that the balance sheet of the company could be stronger than our current assumption. • We reduce our target price from £1.60 per share to £1.25 per share as we now exclude the value of Copernicus. • Results of the Oswig well are expected very soon. Oswig is a lower risk well compared to Copernicus. The Oswig prospect consists of an HP/HT Jurassic rotated fault block near the producing Tune and Oseberg fields in the Norwegian North Sea, operated by Equinor. Our unrisked NAV for the well is £1.01 per share. • Velocette is expected to be spudded in 2Q23. This is a 130 mmboe prospect operated by OMV. Longboat holds 20% in the well. Our unrisked NAV for the well is £1.38 per share. | shortcpx
15/9/2022 14:32 | As much as I’d like to read something into Helge’s comment, he did say something similar about Cambozola: “We look forward to updating the market on Cambozola at the end of drilling operations”. Who knows, but Helge and Longboat will be well aware of market rules. It is taking a fair bit of time though, so I guess we have to hope they have something to log. Only time will tell. | duckdown |
