06/3/2023 16:24 | Keeping this on radar but blackrock selling down - over 10% left - | ![]() tomboyb
05/3/2023 15:18 | "The markets by the way always get it right " Cant believe you said that given your indicated experience. Its patently not correct. And I speak from experience too.Maybe you meant usually..?? The whole point about markets is that they often throw up valuation anomalies. Thats why in general we are here isnt it ? | ![]() ohisay
03/3/2023 18:59 | anley, they have already given a heads up about an 'oven ready' monetisation at least - it is called kveikje and it has been indicated we will hear about it during Q1 2023. | ![]() ripvanwinkle3
03/3/2023 18:04 | It’s a jock holiday special this one. “Best management in the business”. | terminator101
03/3/2023 18:04 | OHISAY......I am not sure why you bought but I am going to assume that you think LBE are cheap. Cheap they are not unless they come up with an "oven ready" deal and you wont know this for many a month. In the meantime these guys at LBE are (I assume) drawing salaries from the few million that is left and fiddling around waiting for news from the stakes they have left. The markets by the way always get it right - when something like LBE happens who knows how long it takes for it to be finally buried. Sorry but its best the truth be out as I have had 60 years in the stock markets and as a fund manager. | ![]() anley
03/3/2023 13:21 | Fall does appear over done...... but BoD seem clueless and lacking direction, maybe this will change soon, but seems unlikely? Maybe a re-brand would help..... Lifeboat Energy anyone ? | ![]() bbm_144
03/3/2023 11:38 | Admitting that your partners see no value in one of your "best" assets, relinquishing it only to plan on rebidding for it isn't a great look.Market cap of £6m with cash of approx. £8m.Still wouldn't touch this. They seem strategically lost. | ![]() sludgesurfer
03/3/2023 11:16 | Bit of an overreaction here surely? Not exactly like any value in the share price for Egyptian Vulture at yesterdays Share Price of 15p! Crazy | ![]() ripvanwinkle3
03/3/2023 09:33 | Haha ... ;-) And... no mention in the last Meeting Presentation on the relinquishment issue.. from what I recall. Bit of an oversight? Or Helge just got his eye off the ball? Who knows! | ![]() sogoesit
03/3/2023 08:51 | The vikings used longboats for funeral ceremonies | ![]() volsung
03/3/2023 07:17 | It’s hard work being a minority partner in a JV… Longboat Energy PLC - PL 939 Licence Update - Egyptian Vulture #LBE | ![]() sogoesit
22/2/2023 10:50 | Was it recorded in a cellar.?..not at all easy to listen to. | ![]() ohisay
21/2/2023 15:39 | The Egyptian Vulture licence did not sound too positive with parties not being aligned!.........and Helge looked drained and tired which is the worst kind of frame to be in. Someone will pick up the pieces - some day and be able to get my shares out of the sin boz. | ![]() anley
21/2/2023 14:35 | My question was on the "dismal share performance and risk of equity dilution" which I felt wasn't answered well and didn't even mention the equity part of it - the look on their faces wasn't great. | ![]() nigelpm
21/2/2023 12:22 | It was encouraging for Q1 I thought, and with market cap at cash an easy hold for me. At the end of the day I trust Helge to come good on his word. Easier for me to say I know as I was not in at the IPO.But there is not much downside at these levels. I note he said they might well farm down the Malaysian asset nearer the well date. | ![]() ohisay
21/2/2023 09:58 | Anyone at the Investor Meet? Notes from meeting: - M&A strategy - #800m RBF (currency?) - answered as NOK (not an RBF but an Exploration Finance Facility (EFF)) - "Fully funded" - Malaysia WP - 3 years studies then 1 well - Velocette only well this year... otherwise M&A - M&A to involve selling whole assets and/or farming down (Kveijke); they're not sure about what to do with Lotus - Helge is unhappy with share price performance (as well as other participants!!) >> M&A monetisation - Way forward > Grow Production thru an M&A deal (sense of urgency!) - M&A focus is Norway - Hint at an announcement "in Spring" | ![]() sogoesit
16/2/2023 07:34 | Excellent risk / reward here IMV.. | ![]() ohisay
15/2/2023 12:05 | Looking interesting long on a 5 to 10+ year view. Awaiting an entry point (per debate on the thread here about funding strategy). GLA | ![]() sogoesit
15/2/2023 12:05 | Move on one day and they are off to Malaya............as well as trying to sell a few assets. We shall have to wait until March for a full explanation. | ![]() anley
14/2/2023 17:08 | Blackrock have started to sell down and in my estimation will keep the market with stock as and when. How deep is your pocket OHISAY as they are the largest holder once with 14.9 and now slowly down to 12%. | ![]() anley
13/2/2023 18:10 | Until they say what they are planning and, more importantly, how it will be funded, the sell off will go on. As some have said a placing at these prices would be madness...... Wouldn't it?? | ![]() bbm_144
13/2/2023 11:54 | Fund raise at these levels makes no business sense and I think it's a complete red herring | ![]() ripvanwinkle3 |
