05/9/2017 12:21 | thenighthawk - how easily could LCG get back into institutional FX ? surely you have take business from an already established business as all instis will already have a mechanism in play. I guess you need a USP, or perhaps tighter dealing spreads and lower costs. Diversifying revenue stream would be a good idea. | dusseldorf
04/9/2017 15:11 | I think LCG is a strong buy. The cash burning is over, turn around is at the front door and Charles-Henri Sabet will be profitable next year - or maybe even before! From what I hear, the company is checking again a move back into institutional FX business. Now, institutional business is where the money can be made without huge marketing costs and regulatory hustle. I don´t think the stock will stay below 2.50 for a long time.... 04/9/2017 13:54 | More interesting trades. 3 auctions today - so far. I must admit I am starting to get curious about what is going on behind the scenes, here. | ![]() aleman
25/8/2017 21:47 | It depends what was agreed with the MM. I've seen them take round numbers of shares before. (I've just noticed it was actually 71,000.) For the second the be a correction, the first would usually reappear as OC - a cancelled ordinary trade. | ![]() aleman
25/8/2017 17:38 | 70000 is too round, looks to me like 1st record was incorrect and 2nd record was a correction | dusseldorf
25/8/2017 15:36 | The other side of that trade has gone through. It looks like a trade has been put through the market at a 2.05p price, decided off-market, with the brokers taking 70,000 shares in commission. | ![]() aleman
25/8/2017 08:20 | hopefully, when it clears we will go back up. | domple
25/8/2017 06:55 | £23k trade reported as delayed from yesterday @2.05p - listed as 'OK', which I assume is Ordinary Block Trade, typically used by Insti's. | dusseldorf
24/8/2017 13:37 | Keeping these in the top drawer, waiting a good upturn. | domple
24/8/2017 12:29 | I read that report - it's a taster of information but very thin. Need some comparisons. Spent 30 mins doing this (source: pro.similarweb.com): May 2017 LCG 440k IG 7.2m (Monthly) LCG 121k IG 1.557m (unique) LCG 5.2% IG 94.7% (traffic split) June 2017 LCG 575K IG 7.3m (Monthly) LCG 174.5k IG 1.456m (unique) LCG 6.1% IG 93.9% (traffic split) July 2017 LCG 464k IG 7.0m (Monthly) LCG 121k IG 1.385m (unique) LCG 6.6% IG 93.4% (traffic split) Different ways to paint it I guess, but I see: LCG increasing it's %'age take of visitors from 5.2% > 6.6% LCG increasing monthly visitors IG decreasing LCG up 5.5% vs. IG down 2.8% LCG swinging more agressively (on visitor numbers) during peak activity 30% up, vs 1.3% up IG ..ok its just a snapshot, but who knows.. | dusseldorf
24/8/2017 09:56 | The bid is 2.5, the ask is 2.25p - MM's don't have a clue what they are doing | dusseldorf
24/8/2017 09:27 | is this just a temp blip? odd movements but hey ho! | domple
24/8/2017 08:28 | A bit of free coverage for LCG (a mention as an example broker who offers it): | dusseldorf
23/8/2017 16:15 | Cld be - the MMs do like to play poker games on L2 & also shuffle stock about Just need a catalyst RNS here i wld have thgt | luckymouse
23/8/2017 13:15 | LuckyMouse - the larger volumes have only been sells - yet the bid goes up e.g. twice today to 2.5p where an UT uncrossing trade gets rid of it. On the sell side, I can sell 375000@2.325 and yet I can buy (abeit in smaller quantities) for 2.3p. Seems to suggest the MM's are at differing ends of the order book and one is bidding. | dusseldorf
23/8/2017 12:11 | Dusseldorf - cld be the MMs might have some kind of automatic risk adjust on their books & pricing - so if mkt or sector twitches so does their quote. Just a guess | luckymouse
22/8/2017 14:42 | resembles a jump start. hope it can get the share price going. | domple
21/8/2017 13:02 | Is anyone being approached to have stock placed with them via their broker? Just trying to work out why every day there are price 'blips' (e.g. 3x today) with minimal transactions - smacks of stock being placed, but volumes are minimal. | dusseldorf
16/8/2017 11:12 | Another blip - might be my fault, I moved circa £5k into a stocks and shares ISA 2.25-2.26 was the transaction spread. | dusseldorf
16/8/2017 08:55 | neat rise of 0.03 there for a moment! | domple

11/8/2017 09:28 | Some food for thought, lets assume LCG can make a profit %'age on a par with peers Name: LCG turnover 23m mcap 9m Company..Price...Mca IG.......640p....235 Plus.....820p....943 CMC......145p....419 Revx - How many multiples of LCG revenue Mcapx - How many multiples of LCG market cap LCGrevX - How many times higher is co. valued off revenue vs. LCG Profitx - What is the market cap multiple of profit profit X - what is the profit as %'age of turnover As an aside, the above seems to point out Plus is undervalued. So, for my mid-term personal target of LCG trading at 6.25p (£25m mcap), I think the co needs circa: - Revenue £32.5-37.5m (Not sure on impact of overhead reduction) ...leading to - Profit of circa £5m Does not seem unreasonable given the right conditions. | dusseldorf
11/8/2017 08:08 | The mad scramble to protect equity positions sends VIX soaring. Now, how else can one protect equity positions? Spread bet anyone? | ![]() aleman |
