14/5/2017 19:10 | Hope67 - I don't expect a profit, but I do expect a significant improvement in balance sheet. H2 should be strong, but investments in staff and advertising have been high (costs of redundancy x20 staff and move of ops to Cyprus and office to Mayfair). H1 had a loss of a few million which IMO will not be overcome by any improvement in H2.H1 2017 should look good and hopefully now we're 3/4's through some guidance given. I'm not so focussed on when the company reports a profit, but how quickly revenues can increase (esp. Overseas markets) | dusseldorf
14/5/2017 18:51 | Seeing as after Brexit the markets were strong does anyone expect a small profit here? | ![]() hope67
12/5/2017 18:53 | Well we dont have the news yet - but that OBV certainly looks like an institution has stepped in | luckymouse
12/5/2017 16:06 | The potential for growth of a lse company compared to private can be very attractive. Sabet can see the potential growth here and that is a compelling reason to keep it on lse until such time as he makes his fortune. | domple
12/5/2017 15:49 | richie666 - I've said this before, but if Sabet wanted to take it private, he'd have done so last year in June/July prior to converting all his and his buddies £18m into shares at 4.5p effective and prior to the 'materially positive' trading update - there would have been no need to go through with that and all the hassle and cost, he could have simply said - we can't get funds we're going private and taken it off the market. It's also plastered all over LCG adverts that it's listed on the London Stock Exchange, so I feel that this is part of how LCG differentiate against similar/smaller competitors. It will also add credibility as an entity trading abroad and allow the possibility to more easily raising funds to expand when the numbers increase investors appetite for stock and he can do so at a level where dilution is minimised. I don't see this going private any time soon. That said he does have alot of control over what happens next... | dusseldorf

12/5/2017 15:08 | Sadly Duss I don't think u will get your 10p. Sabet is too greedy he will likely swallow the rump stock for a derisory 5p. | ![]() richie666
12/5/2017 15:01 | sigora - Time will tell, I'm not after a quick buck on this one, my purchases prior to today ranged from 2.5 - 3.81p/share and holding about 1.2m now, my hope is for 10p+ in 2-3 years. LCG 'should' make money when markets go up or down erratically and I feel a bumpy ride coming in a year or so (globally). It's basically a hedge against market fluctuations to protect portfolio against other things I'm holding. If LCG get it right they could start to eat into IG's/other players dominance. LCG has revenues circa 1/20th of IG and yet its market cap is 1/150th. If LCG can get sufficient traction to achieve 'similar' profitability ratios then we're underpriced by a factor of 7x - a crude way to look at it, but shows where we need to target. Volume is 2nd highest in LCG's history today | dusseldorf

12/5/2017 14:48 | I go away for a couple of hours and it takes off. Indeed volumes seem to be approaching my 'tidal wave' scenario to get us out of the trading range rut. Still feels like speculative investors (primarily as results not out yet), but agree it appears the overhang may well have been absorbed. | dusseldorf
