Why would Dbay do that? They would then have to borrow money to fund their investments. This way they have their own ATM. I still think they are trying to get th e Esken shares on the cheap which will benefit all of us. I'll be topping up tomorrow as weee getting close to a 50percent discount to NAV with nearly 7p per share in cash

What a waste of time this share is.
Price still going down in spite of buybacks.
They should liquidate all investments asap and give us the money.

AGM on 9th May, when current buyback finishes Who reckons that Esken administrators will wait until the final day to do a deal.

6.7p of the nav is in cash. They should have announced that our stake in FF had increased to 28 percent. Entering the private credit market carries additional risk and increases the illiquidity of the assets. APH has been a disaster, but if they really believe in the company they should either increase their stake at these low prices or take the company out

Well so far they've proved to be pretty poor investors merely taking fees for loosing shareholder money.I suspect things won't change too quickly given what we've seen. Aph holds the key to share price recovery. Losing c30% of the investment cost shows how poor the insight has been imo.

Unfortunately DBAY won't do that.

I like the idea of more regular reporting of assets.I would like them to report on performance of (now private) FIF.Feels like they are blaming APH for all losses, but no one forced them to buy APH shares.Market reaction is harsh but in keeping with large discount to NAV. Current NAV 18p?

Probably to scare the administrators at Esken to sell up now or try and sell in the marketplace

With Esken now in admin, the administrators are more likely to seek to dispose of their LDG stake to cover their fees. We need to buy them back as cheaply as we can, to increase NAV

As the buy backs have dropped off, the share price keeps falling. Will be tempted to top up if it gets into the 11s

I reckon Cyrus will get the shares as part of the equity swap for their bond. If that happens, they will wait it out.

ESKN holders being wiped out and remaining assets wound up. No clear indication about the disposal of their shares.

I am surprised they did not just dump them to try and stay alive a little longer

Been a bit more volatile. Still below the price when the buyback started. Unless they are short of stock I can see them continuing. I don't think they give it much thought.

Esken must be needing cash soon

Price hike is probably due to the buyback. Looks like investors want to keep their shares unless they get want they want to sell them. I can see them stopping the buyback for a few days, to let things settle down as they are in no rush.

No buyback todayEsken in deep trouble and unlikely to remain solvent whether They lose ownership of Southend or not. Will need to sell their stake to raise cash or administrators will sell it down for them to pay the their fees

Doesn't look like there was a buyback today. Price had run away from them so decided not to buy?

There is another buyer out there picking up 250k and 300k positions. Noticed it yesterday and again today.

They are using LDG as a cash cow to help fund other deals. As you say the their stake increases with each buyback, but so does ours. I'm happy for them to continue the 200k buyback each day. I'm taking a 5 year view here

agree with you on the last one, this is the first one i don't like, mainly because of the lack of information. I view the finsbury transaction as a positive.

We are a part of the Dbay Empire, i presume why the discount is this big and i fully expect LDG to be absorbed by Dbay at one point in time. But why would they rush this? They can gobble up shares at a hefty discount and increase their position with a 40% discount to the actual value. I view it the same way.
Glad to see they upped to around 200.000 a day on the buyback.

We now have 2 illiquid positions.I prefer they buy listed positions which are easier to value and sell. Otherwise we'll be trading at an even steeper discount to NAV
