27/3/2024 16:19 | Unfortunately DBAY won't do that. | briggs1209
27/3/2024 12:10 | I like the idea of more regular reporting of assets.I would like them to report on performance of (now private) FIF.Feels like they are blaming APH for all losses, but no one forced them to buy APH shares.Market reaction is harsh but in keeping with large discount to NAV. Current NAV 18p? | briggs1209
27/3/2024 12:03 | Probably to scare the administrators at Esken to sell up now or try and sell in the marketplace | lpavlou
27/3/2024 08:31 | Buyback to end in May | briggs1209
23/3/2024 02:57 | Final results must be due soon. | briggs1209
22/3/2024 20:31 | With Esken now in admin, the administrators are more likely to seek to dispose of their LDG stake to cover their fees. We need to buy them back as cheaply as we can, to increase NAV | lpavlou
22/3/2024 11:03 | As the buy backs have dropped off, the share price keeps falling. Will be tempted to top up if it gets into the 11s | lpavlou
06/3/2024 20:32 | I reckon Cyrus will get the shares as part of the equity swap for their bond. If that happens, they will wait it out. | lpavlou
06/3/2024 08:04 | ESKN holders being wiped out and remaining assets wound up. No clear indication about the disposal of their shares. I am surprised they did not just dump them to try and stay alive a little longer | briggs1209
24/2/2024 07:20 | Been a bit more volatile. Still below the price when the buyback started. Unless they are short of stock I can see them continuing. I don't think they give it much thought. Esken must be needing cash soon | briggs1209
23/2/2024 16:29 | Price hike is probably due to the buyback. Looks like investors want to keep their shares unless they get want they want to sell them. I can see them stopping the buyback for a few days, to let things settle down as they are in no rush. | lpavlou
19/2/2024 18:00 | No buyback todayEsken in deep trouble and unlikely to remain solvent whether They lose ownership of Southend or not. Will need to sell their stake to raise cash or administrators will sell it down for them to pay the their fees | lpavlou
16/2/2024 17:35 | Doesn't look like there was a buyback today. Price had run away from them so decided not to buy? | lpavlou
14/2/2024 16:31 | There is another buyer out there picking up 250k and 300k positions. Noticed it yesterday and again today. | lpavlou
13/2/2024 21:37 | They are using LDG as a cash cow to help fund other deals. As you say the their stake increases with each buyback, but so does ours. I'm happy for them to continue the 200k buyback each day. I'm taking a 5 year view here | lpavlou
13/2/2024 11:16 | agree with you on the last one, this is the first one i don't like, mainly because of the lack of information. I view the finsbury transaction as a positive. We are a part of the Dbay Empire, i presume why the discount is this big and i fully expect LDG to be absorbed by Dbay at one point in time. But why would they rush this? They can gobble up shares at a hefty discount and increase their position with a 40% discount to the actual value. I view it the same way. Glad to see they upped to around 200.000 a day on the buyback. | kirmich
12/2/2024 15:49 | We now have 2 illiquid positions.I prefer they buy listed positions which are easier to value and sell. Otherwise we'll be trading at an even steeper discount to NAV | lpavlou
05/2/2024 15:53 | Good to see the spread narrow too | lpavlou
05/2/2024 13:13 | Market thanks Esken will dump their shares, but doubt it very much. We will all benefit from the lower share price and hope Dbay ramp up the buyback to maximise NAV | lpavlou
02/2/2024 22:36 | Pleased they have upped the quantity of shares being purchased. I expect them to sell their stake in TMG soon for 100 percent profit | lpavlou
02/2/2024 06:18 | Upped the daily purchases to 180.000, almost 31 million shares repurchased by now. Reassuring trading update by Alliance Pharma, but not reflected in the share price of Alliance. Waiting game and will be buying in the 11's as well. | kirmich
31/1/2024 17:56 | You can now buy at 12.25p. If it drops back into the 11's again I'll be topping up | lpavlou
30/1/2024 10:33 | Yes, I bet DBAY's patience outlasts Esken's balance sheet. | briggs1209
29/1/2024 21:51 | Now that Esken have sold the biomass business, there's very little income generating assets. The airport is going to continue to lose money and can only be funded from non core asset sales which includes property and LDG shares. They are probably waiting for 15p+ and probably 17p, but may run out of money by them. Dbay not in any rush | lpavlou |
