they bought all those shares from 15p all the way down to 12p. Now they sit on their hands.

They have sold 760000 shares in TMG this afternoon. Looks like they are not hanging around for the actual bid or reinvesting in the bidco.

There goes 10p.

Without any info on FIF and without results of APH we could free-fall down.

There does not seem to be any buying interest.

The current loss on APH is worth 2.5p of NAV and assuming all the other stakes are flat, we still should have a NAV of at least 17p. Without the buybacks we could drift lower to sub 10p, with the only catalyst to drive the share price being the company performance. I still favour Dbay having a go and taking out APH once the results are out.

Should make a decent return on TMG now they are in play but small beer compared to their stake in APH

APH price is back at 35p having fallen to 25p and LDG is down 10% in the process

Yes, all a bit bizarre really re APH in particular. I bought in like others for the obvious discount / value focus etc etc., but given DBay's stated goal is "to provide our investors with superior risk-adjusted returns while prioritising preservation of capital by focussing on investments with a high margin of safety" APH was a strange choice.

This is all easy in hindsight, of course, and I know nothing detailed about APH and I'm sure there was a case to be made, and hopefully there still is, but even now after it lost over half its value in 12 months, it still doesn't come anywhere close to being any kind of value share IMO; v disappointing.

I haven't sold any, and will let things play out, but I don't feel tempted to average down either (currently 17% down overall having averaged down once).

They own 56.7m shares in APH at a cost of 59p. Currently losing 17m. Time to go big or go home. Let's see if they bought any today.

Anyone have any thought on this stock?

Big fall today, probably because of APH news of further delay to results and the shares have gone nowhere.

Buy backs not been good for the share price

Time to buyout APH or if they don't believe in its future, sell their stake and take the loss

I reckon LDG should liquidate all their investments and return the money to the shareholders.
Time to loosen ties with Dbay as they got us into this APH mess.

Not sure, but they are not yet part of the buy back on today's RNS.

I think it is the same trade. One is a SINT which is usually ignored on some charting platforms. Look at the details here:

Only 6 more trading days until the buyback ceases. Let's see if they can buyout Esken. If it happens, i expect it to occur on the very last day.

I believe they are playing chicken with Esken receivers. They've put a deadline on the buyback and with no other buyer out there for their stake, they are trying to force the receivers to sell their stake to them at current market level. Depending on how much cash was left in the business, the receivers may hold out an decide not to sell or sell small chuck's to cover their fees in the process The alternative view is Dbay have decided the money is better spent in investments rather than buybacks. I disagree as the buyback gives you an instant return.

I think it is a function of shear lack of liquidity. Sells seem to have dried up but equally no one is buying the stock.

Might need APH to start increasing to move the price.

Alternatively we also need more info about the private business performance.

11p is really disappointing but DBAY don't seem bothered at the moment.
