I like the slow and steady approach, if you are a long term holder you want to let them buy as much of the shares as possible.
Not sure about DBAY selling part of their shareholdings, maybe the opposite, using the sharebuyback to increase their shareholding without having to launch a takeover?

Let's see how their investments in APH, FIF, SQLI and the new 1,54% stake in Trifast will fare.

Thanks. Is it a sale at all or just a transfer between connected companies. Not much info available on either company

Scroll further down the same RNS. Mangusta now have a holding

Miura have sold their entire 31m shares on 5th April. Doesn't look like the company has bought these, but you never know. Let's see if there is another RNS soon

Agreed. Huge volume over the last few days, relatively speaking, and small purchases from LDG.

I took a look at last year. THey bought shares on 29 different days. Although the average number bought per day was about 5 million that includes some huge sells, such as from DBAY themselves. Of the 29 days, they bought lesson than a million on 14 and twice bought less that 100,000.

However the volume traded seems sufficient for them to be buying more, maybe a slower approach this time?

I'm surprised the amount of stock bought back has been so low given the volumes traded.

Nice to see the buyback working. Patience required but any long term holders who spotted the opportunity to top up last week in the 14’s will be rewarded.

Looks to me like the buyback has started. We will know in the next couple of days

20.4p Nav, so they can buy up to 17.3p. I fully expect Esken to offload their shares and that will take up to half the buyback. I'm sure Dbay will also sell some shares. The cheaper they buyback the shares, the greater the NAV becomes.

Nav is probably 21p but we are now a different company. Last year we had a 19p NAV but all in cash. Were probably now 50 percent invested and 50% cash

You would think they would include current NAV in the final results

20p nav is based on acquisition cost not current value.

So NAV still about 20p, buyback targetting a 15% discount which means they are aiming for 17p

Expect even further stale increases in APH. A new purchase today in TRI. If they keep on stake building, there won't be much cash left and they will be fully invested.

Spread is deterring any trading activity. When will Esken get off the fence and seek to sell their entire holding back to the company

Funny how these have risen today when Alliance and Finsbury both had a bad day.

Fall in share price whilst disappointing, is to be expected given where markets are. I am a surprised they haven't started the buyback, but maybe they are lining up the next purchase given recent market woes

Good opportunity today to start the buyback. On price weakness. Every share they buy at 15.5p will increase the overall NAV

Still increasing APH stake. Up to 4.26 percent now

Expect the buyback to start soon however with Esken looking to sell 64m shares and Dbay probably looking to sell another 50m shares, it may not last long. I expect them to both want to get 18p, so expect them to drive the price up slowly to that level and then complete the buyback
