20/12/2012 15:04 | Here's a recent Six Flags presentation/confere "In park sales, on page 27, more very positive momentum. We've got 2,000 locations. We're adding to them with opportunities such as the off-road Safari at Great Adventure, and we're also innovating in this area in many ways. Let me give you one example. We use different methods. We might use technology. Lo-Q wrist bands, that's our Flash Pass offering, in water parks - not just in the theme parks, so people can get to the front of a slide line if they want to by paying more. We make incremental revenue and profit that way." | rivaldo
20/12/2012 09:11 | Another 5,000 shares bought this morning at 370p having a good effect. | rivaldo
19/12/2012 10:30 | Decent buying coming in at 362p and 363p now. Looking very strong going into the contract announcement season. | rivaldo
14/12/2012 04:00 | Interesting find: Six Flags Over Georgia trialed Q-Smart last season. The online interface is still up partially. Will be waiting to see if Six Flags has any future plans. | 1001011
13/12/2012 23:52 | Longish article. Paperless tickets could help combat touts but many venues still do not have the capabilities to support them, say independent music promoters. Although most tickets are sold online, bringing a printed barcode ticket means it is not truly a digital transaction. But one independent promoter Anton Lockwood, who works for DHP, says paperless is not always "practical". "It only works where the cost of introducing the system can be spread over high ticket prices," he said. "The physical design of arenas can make paperless tickets much easier to handle but in club venues, for example, it's more difficult as there isn't usually the space for equipment like electronic turnstiles." Dave Newton of We Got Tickets, an online retailer, believes that the technology has actually made it easier for small venues. "Paperless ticketing has brought the cost down [for smaller venues and promoters] and opened up the option of advanced ticketing," he said. "Resistance is still there at the larger venues because they're used to having people stood on the door ripping tickets." [continues] | supernumerary

13/12/2012 20:26 | Nah - sounds like nonsense to me, and probably illegal. If the HB was going to work the price up, they should have done that before the terms of the deal were settled, given that it's part-paid in shares. Now the deal's signed I don't think anyone cares much what price they hit the market - why should they? Most of the new shares are very carefully locked-up so they can forget the share price and concentrate on doing the business, which is exactly as it should be. Seems a lot more likely that TB has been doing the rounds and people are realising that loq is a highly cash-generative company, with ip-protected products, in a very sweet spot in the market, with great ambition and a management team that's proven it can achieve its goals. And of course, although I know you think it's a bit late for new contracts to be signed, some of us still think it's a decent odds-on bet that we'll have something before the end of 13Q1 ;¬) | supernumerary
13/12/2012 18:19 | Looks like the house broker is working the price up in order to facilitate a successful issuance of stock for the accesso purchase. All IMHO of course!spud | spud
13/12/2012 10:31 | 7,500 shares just bought at 358p, above the 357p published offer price.... | rivaldo
13/12/2012 09:26 | There has been a fair bit of demand for stock and there are only a certain number of shareholders able to supply institutions with hundreds of thousands in blocks. LS and his wife will be an obvious target if there is demand. That is a significant investment by a non exec who after deductions will be investing over four times his actual remuneration from the company so quite a statement of confidence | davidosh

13/12/2012 07:32 | Interesting RNS. Unsurprising to see LS dole out a few shares, but excellent to see a Non-Exec taking his maiden stake - and a decent £60,000 one at that - at 344p.... And of course it's great to see the ease at which the market snaffles up another 100k shares from LS. | rivaldo
12/12/2012 20:29 | Case study on paythru | helpaargh
12/12/2012 20:06 | Thank you. Since I bought in at just 9.85p many years ago now I have already made a killing, but I expect to double up yet again from the current share price! I'd suggest you get in sooner rather than later or you'll miss out! :-) :-) | itchycrack
12/12/2012 20:02 | WELL WELL WELL!!! OH MY ITCHY CRACK HOW RAMPTASTIC!!!! 6£££££££££££££££££££ | sir leonardo
12/12/2012 19:31 | IMHO this is heading north of 600p+ given 18 months from now, probably a lot sooner than that as this rate. | itchycrack
12/12/2012 19:14 | Good to see the old names still here. LOQ must have made some of you guys life-changing profits. Must admit I thought they reached their peak around £2, how very wrong I was (but not as wrong as Mr Hangman 'sell at 5p') !! | bozzy_s
12/12/2012 19:00 | Hmm, somethings going on here. Last time it seemed someone got wind of the acquisition and bought. Will look forward to an Rns in the morning lol! | alphabeta4
12/12/2012 16:07 | I would refer you to post 9638 my lud ;-) spud Edit - Yes possibly and or contract news imminent? | spud
12/12/2012 16:03 | Nice move up. I wonder if LOQ (i.e Tom) are or have been presenting to the City re the accesso acquisition? | rivaldo
12/12/2012 15:14 | Yup, they've also temporarily closed the online portal whilst they play with the numbers. It was showing 5k Bid @ 342p and 0.5k Offer at 347p from memory. spud | spud
12/12/2012 11:32 | Large trades going through at 344p oday - around 216,000 shares so far. | rivaldo
11/12/2012 09:23 | Unless someone starts dumping, this has a nice little pop written all over it :-)spud | spud |
