The plot thicken. . . . . . . . . . . .s

It has now emerged MPs will have to vote on whether the crunch vote is postponed

after it was reported the Prime Minister is poised to cancel the 'meaningful vote'

on Tuesday in a bid to avoid an embarrassing defeat. MPs have now signalled their

intention to vote against delaying the crunch vote. BBC political editor Laura

Kuenssberg said the House of Commons would "erupt" when the Government announces

its plans to delay the vote.

Brussels They give a bad Bretix to make sure UK will stay. Now they say, UK can cancel the people's vote and stay.. no respect for democracy what so ever!!They also sent a message to the rest.. look what happens to UK, expect the same.IF this is what the bullies of Brussels call democracy, UK is better off to stay away.

Arlene Foster just tweeted:

Just finished a call with the Prime Minister. My message was clear. The backstop must go. Too much time has been wasted. Need a better deal. Disappointed it has taken so long for Prime Minister to listen.

"The backstop must go" -fat chance, IMO.

NIESR's latest update, issued half an hour ago:

UK economic growth looks set to slow to a quarterly rate of 0.4% in the fourth quarter of 2018 from 0.6% in the third quarter. This profile is unchanged from last month and points to GDP growth of 1.4 per cent in 2018.

Growth is being driven by the service sector and a continued robust performance from construction. Manufacturing industry showed no growth in the latest three months.

Garry Young, head of macroeconomic modelling and forecasting at NIESR, said “The latest data confirm that UK GDP growth is slowing after a strong performance in the middle of the year, and the risks appear to be to the downside. Final quarter GDP growth is set to be around 0.4 per cent, in line with potential, and implies that GDP growth for 2018 as a whole will be 1.4 per cent. Growth is being driven by the service and construction sectors. Manufacturing output growth appears to have stalled. Recent service sector surveys have been weak and point to further downside risks.”

Yes k38, having realised that her plan won't get through one might have expected her to stand down today but think that unlikely so she will have to be forced out to make way for someone who can deliver the Brexit voted for.

The best next thing for conservatives, after TM delaying the vote, to bring in the letters and challenging her leadership.

See what else the EU come up with now....project fear in reverse with them quaking in their shoes at every scare story. Tick tock, tick tock 29th March getting closer, we're leaving OUT means OUT, LEAVE means LEAVE, Brexit means Brexit.

Yes stonedyou that was very decent of them wasn't it. No mention of the fact that they are desperate for our £39 billion, or that the EU is unsustainable, with rising populism, riots or anything else unsavoury. Well it didn't cut any ice with May's team as they've pulled the vote anyway, assuming that the amendment to pull it is passed....not a foregone conclusion apparently.

It is almost as if some one decided at the start of the year that LLOY should be 20% less valuable by the end of the year (no matter what)
Who could do such a thing??
If only some one could have seen it coming....
