Bob, I just got one. Went to tesco for a free 50kW charge and got stuck in the jam of drivers all going for non-existent petrol. Instead of the tescos braindead informing petrol customers there wasn't any before the one way system to the pumps,, they just told the lot at the end of a one way system at the empty pumps. So easy to avoid the jam by just telling drivers not to enter the one way system! Anyhow, finally got my free chargeup. Doubt that will last much longer.

Can there be another country in the whole world where this is allowed to happen for over two weeks? And the Fat Green Frog tells the rest of the world it needs to grow up. The blokes bleedin crackers.

One of my stocks has took a bit of a dive this morning. Funny isnt it how when one does the board is full of posters who were wise enough to sell in the last few days even though there was no hint. No doubt when it goes back up they will have been wise enough to have bought again just after they sold em at the bottom. More sense talked on here !

Zero tolerance: Communist China in all-out crypto crackdown as it says all payments are illegal

It comes after the Communist China declared a crackdown on crypto mining in May, which caused the market to crash and shaved 50 per cent off Bitcoin’s price.

A statement posted on the Central Bank’s website says that “virtual currency does not have the same legal status as legal currency.”

City keeps European financial crown despite BrexitPredictions of the Square Mile's decline after Britain left the European Union have failed to materialiseBySimon Foy24 September 2021 • 9:00amThe City of London has maintained its crown as Europe's dominant financial hub as firms in the Square Mile adapt to Brexit. London came second only to New York in the latest global financial centres index, which is published by Z/Yen Group, a financial think tank. The City comfortably beat rival European centres, including Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam, which came 10th, 14th and 17th, respectively. The report said London's strong performance "reflects confidence in the longer-term prospects for the centre". It comes despite repeated warnings from chief executives and politicians that Brexit would damage the Square Mile's reputation. Z/Yen said: "The relatively strong performance of New York and London suggests that the financial services sectors in these cities managed to sustain their performance despite radical changes in working practices during the last 18 months."ADVERTISINGThe report highlights that the City has successfully navigated its way through the pandemic and Britain's withdrawal from the EU, relative to other financial centres. ... "However, since most things are cyclical, everything usually comes into fashion again."

Would that include the EU?

Apparently standard English no longer matters in state schools. Trying applying that to science and see where that leads. Standards slipping all over the place. However, since most things are cyclical, everything usually comes into fashion again.
