I know why I voted for brexit I haven't a clue why anybody would vote remain but that is their democratic right . Is this the brexit I voted for no I voted for no deal clean break and if EU with its 100 billion annual trade surplus with Britain didn't want to trade thats their loss. As for losing trade with Germany with its annual trade surplus of 30 billion again that's their loss

"He continued his studies at the Polytechnic of Central London (now the University of Westminster), where he received a Diploma in Law[16] in 1979."

Oh dear, he was a poly student. That will go down well with the polymath on this thread!

ROFLMAO!

Here's the thing about Dominic Grieve. To judge by his speeches and writings you think he's a nasty piece of work. But when you meet him in the flesh...you find he's even more nasty.

Payback for banks supporting Biden in US elections.."she once even pledging to end banking as we know it."

Biden to nominate anti-crypto Saule Omarova as the head of the OCC

The reason why this is not good news for the crypto industry is the fact that Omarova is known as a major crypto skeptic. She previously levied criticism at crypto assets as well as legacy banking, once even pledging to ‘end banking as we know it.’ Now, however, she will be in charge of the institution that is overseeing the banking sector in the entire US.

As for digital currencies, Omarova has been recorded saying that it is ‘benefiting mainly the dysfunctional financial system we already have.’

It should be noted, however, that analysts do not expect Omarova to get the job without a fight, as traditional banking will certainly lobby against her appointment. While the banks are not exactly fans of crypto, both digital and traditional banking stand to lose if Omarova gets elected.
