03/1/2021 15:26 | The European Commission plans on doubling the funding of Erasmus for the next cycle to €30bn (£27bn).2021-27. 'With doubled funding, this programme will be even more effective in supporting key political objectives such as building a European Education Area by 2025, empowering young people and promoting a European identity through youth, education and culture policies. ' UK kids miss out, nevermind eh? Perhaps we could replace it with lessons on cutting twigs, designing tattooes and how to make 'toad in the hole'! ROFLMAO! | minerve 2
03/1/2021 15:17 | Utricky I don't need any lessons on life from an obvious low achiever like you. :) | minerve 2
03/1/2021 15:09 | Merv you've already exposed yourself, talk less think more would be my advice. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 15:02 | "think critically" Of course you have had a lot of experience doing that with your twigs! LOL | minerve 2
03/1/2021 14:58 | Yes Poikka that's the general view of anyone that can think critically I feel. Obviously there will be a proportion of heavily indoctrinated folk who arent capable of critical thinking, they're usually the ones who prioritize being part of a collective above their own personal development. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 14:51 | Not impressed by the Erasmus scheme, it appeared to me to be either a left wing, ideological, lovey dovey lark, or a Brussels EU indoctrination project - or both. | poikka
03/1/2021 14:40 | Yeah you'll lose. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 14:28 | Minerve no point arguing with a bigot from Derby. | bargainbob
03/1/2021 14:24 | I bet they do were paying for them! Let's see how popular ERASMUS is when they have to pay for it. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 14:08 | Erasmus. EUSSR propaganda and brain washing scheme. Like the USSR used to do.Erasmus. The End.Turing is The New. An Honest Development for Enlightenment. | xxxxxy
03/1/2021 14:03 | Vic Flange3 Jan 2021 10:09AMJust to correct you on a few inaccuracies:1. Biden is not 'President-Elect'. He might be on Wednesday.2. The Proud Boys are not 'far-right'.3. Trump is only 'prolonging the process' due to the massive electoral fraud committed by the Democrats of which masses of evidence is due to be presented before congress on Wednesday.Biden has already been fatally compromised by his China ties and the military will not even include him in high level briefings.7LikeReply | xxxxxy
03/1/2021 13:25 | Merv, Why are you reading into something that isnt there? This is a current account it happened 3 yrs ago. She/ we had to pay she was 1 of a handful who completed the higher course almost to a man those on ERASMUS dropped out to travel Asia. At the end of it she gained more confidence kudos and responsiblity which she carrie's whith her to this day. ERASMUS set 9/10ths of her peers up for failure because it's free. Whilst I accept that dealing with failure is an important life lesson I am sure this is not what ERASMUS was intended for. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 13:10 | "It was made easier because those on a free ERASMUS scholarship could not appreciate the opportunity because it was free." Eh? Where did you get that wild and completely wrong assumption from? It sounds to me more like you are jealous and angry that your daughter didn't get on Erasmus. Did she fail the application per chance? | minerve 2
03/1/2021 12:57 | She experienced the benefits of attainment. Her hierarchy within the group was compounded she took on more responsibility within the group her status improved. You cant Buy that it has to be earned. It was made easier because those on a free ERASMUS scholarship could not appreciate the opportunity because it was free. ERASMUS actually made it easier for mu daughter to get ahead. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 12:32 | Utricky What is your point because it isn't clear. Your daughter benefitted outside of Erasmus? Great, well done, good for her. | minerve 2
03/1/2021 12:29 | Merv an anecdote is a fact based story. By the end of the year she could have conversations with taxi drivers, order food drinks, book excursions & do many many things her peers couldnt. consequently her stock rose with the peer group, she could help others she gained responsibility & kudos. Funnily enough ERASMUS has been of great benefit to her BUT for all the wrong reasons! | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 12:24 | maxk3 Jan '21 - 09:05 - 327407 of 327438 0 3 0 This is an article expounding the nu remain refrain morphing into rejoin. Basic wishful thinking. I don't think that's altogether fair, Max - actually it might be the most reasonable article I've ever seen in The Guardian and even the comments aren't too bad! | grahamite2
03/1/2021 12:21 | The EUSSR is breaking up. | xxxxxy |
