04/1/2021 09:59 | If the schools don't open because of the union pressure, teachers should be furloughed and paid the same 80% as all those in the private sector have had to accept since all the lockdown nonsense started. At the moment they're just getting extra-long holidays paid at 100%, like all the other skiving public-service "workers". Politicians should have their pay reduced in line with the increase in unemployment and bankruptcies... Might see a bit of sensible action then! | pawsche
04/1/2021 09:43 | "Aceuk Post 327578 "Yes, it seems Mr Trump has been caught trying to stuff ballot boxes" Post the Democrats ACTUALLY stuffing ballot boxes and winning fraudulently. Surprisingly you missed that part. Timing of this leak oh so coincidental... | geckotheglorious

04/1/2021 09:35 | Iain gillPosted January 4, 2021 at 7:13 am | PermalinkThe schools should open, unlike some I know some primary children, the trauma from missing their peers is bad. At that age you learn a lot from your peers, you learn to be a social person. It is a complete disaster to have them out of school for long times.Politicians should not be regarded as key workers, they should have skin in the game and suffer like everyone else. Why cannot we do what the public schools are doing and test all the pupils and teachers every day.We should not be allowing corbinista unions to hold the country to randsom.... 03/1/2021 23:15 | Despite Starmer spending his life getting ripped in the gym and spending a fortune on male grooming products Boris is more popular with the ladies too. Everyone loves Boris & nobody can deny. | utrickytrees
03/1/2021 23:11 | On scotland Boris should offer the SNP a referendum in say 5 years preceeded by a ttial run during which....All subsidies from rest of UK should be withdrawnScotland should fund its share of national debtBorder controls should be introduced between Scotland and rest of UK identical to those which now exist between EU and UKScotland should set be allowed to set anc fun its own tax and benefits policies but to the extent that these lead to additional borrowing there should be no BoE guarantees.Boris should defend this by pointing out this will ensure the people of Scotland know what they are voting for. | kkclimber56

03/1/2021 23:00 | Sarcasm is lost on you, but don’t be too hard on yourself, so are many things. ;) You are a little dated, just like Bill Cash. Why don’t you offer yourself to the National History Museum whilst there are still a few of you around. :) | minerve 2

03/1/2021 22:44 | And a further thing: I rejoined the Conservative Party, after a gap of many years, for the specific purpose of voting for Boris - and that's just what I did. From a Brexit point of view I'm glad I did - he has done well. | grahamite2
