Alice Taylor20 Dec 2020 9:54PM"The European Commission's latest offer on fish is to give back 25 per cent of its quota, with a six-year transition period. Britain has offered a three-year transition and wants 60 per cent of the quotas returned."Stop, stop, stop saying that the EU will GIVE BACK anything. They can't give back what they don't own.The correct way to write that sentence is "The European Commission's latest offer on fish is to ASK FOR 75% per cent of its PREVIOUS quota, with a six-year transition period. Britain has offered a three-year transition and WILL KEEP 60% of the quota and allocate 40% to other countries."It gets right up my nose when British journalists write as if we are EU supplicants instead of the other way around. I guess it's a habit of 40 years, but it needs to stop.... Daily Telegraph

Minnie - put money on it.
Good result for us today. Wife thinks Im crazy but I dont think we dominated the game as much as the scoreline suggests. We certainly could/should have scored more but so could they - especially with our very suspect defence. But 3rd should shut the anti Ollie mob up unitl we next lose a game.

Im struggling to see any sense at the moment. Just when it all seems to be finding some sort of level something yanks the rug again. Triple rug pull tomorrow - new 70% more contagious strain, travel ban by EU, Brexit confusion. Matt's done us proper
