Peter Wookey5 Dec 2020 5:39PMThe EU predicted that the UK economy would crash the moment we voted leave...They were wrong. The EU predicted that companies would relocate out of the UK as soon as we voted to leave...they were wrong.I guess at the back of their minds they must be wondering what would happen if there is a no deal and the UK economy goes from strength to strength. Then they really are screwed. Not only will they have got no guarantees at all,  lost all fishing access and kissed goodbye to their largest export market, but it will have demonstrated to every one of the EU 27 and the world how the myths surrounding the EU were total BS... Brexit negotiating teams have been working long hours this week and as a result, have been ordering in late-night take-aways.

On Monday Barnier ordered the classic French dish boeuf bourguignon, he gave Frost half of it. It was a good meal and both enjoyed it immensely.

On Tuesday it was Frost’s turn to order so he went for the classic cod, chips and mushy peas... As they sat down to divvy up the meal, Barnier leaned over and took almost all of the fish off Frost’s plate.

Frost immediately objected but Barnier simply retorted “No.....that’s how it’s going to be from now on”.

And so extension is impossible. It would consign the Conservative Party to a despicable history. A Tory graveyard. Elections will come.No DealWTO

Kevin Bell4 Dec 2020 9:38PMCome on. 4 and a half years and we are still here? The definition of a sovereign nation is clear and includes deciding on the level of state aid, control of our coast and fish and no overarching governance authority. These principle are where we should have started and if they are not adhered to then there will be no deal. .. Daily Telegraph

John Condon4 Dec 2020 9:40PMNo deal is better than anything the EU will agree to.How can obeying EU rules, EU punishments for infractions  - plus the theft of our fish in any way resemble TAKING BACK CONTROL?If Boris goes for this he will be gone within months & the Conservative Party will be consigned to the wilderness permanently. After all we have voted for three Conservative Prime Ministers who have PROMISED to respect the referendum. Betrayal will damn Boris's reputation to an even lower level than that of the truly appalling Theresa May.... Daily Telegraph

I think it's time to stop this kneeling nonsense business.

If you are a criminal in America the chances of the police to shoot you are high because you are not only a criminal but an IDIOT this well. Colour make no difference.

When they point a gun on you and shouting stop you f#cking stop!

Simple as that!

"Rhodesia was not one of the great powers of the world. It had certain special problems that do not apply to the UK"

Great place to live before Mugabe turned up.
