There is increasing talk that the Bank of England will go into negative interest rates which is negative for Lloyds profitability and therefore I would not be surprised at some point in the not too distant future seeing the Lloyds share price going sub 20p.

RoW happy to deal with us cos they know there'll be no funny business going on.

No deal and real brexit....no last minute remainer fudges, then we'll start talking.

Meanwhile sign up deals elsewhere. Let the private sector sort it out, not the remain Civil Service.

Expect a deal. Last minute fudge. UK decides to get out there and trade with the world ... right as the world decides to pick up its ball and go home.

chav, as a patriotic type, how come you are not holidaying
in the UK, helping to keep hard pressed British businesses afloat.

Terrible to see British people spending money unesssarily outside the UK
at a time like this.

When people go on holiday they should be able to choose wherever they want. Whether it helps the UK economy or not is not the 1st priority for most and neither should it be. If there are gaping holes in the UK tourist industry it is up to the UK tourist industry to get their act together and make it attractive along with the government to help them. But with the Tories you'll never get it when most of them are holidaying abroad themselves on the yachts of their multi-millionaire buddies and sponsors. Corbyn would have more empathy to the UK tourist industry than any Tory.

cheshire - then pass the hat around. I see that we have mob rule today; a sign of weakness. So in the mob's books anybody going to live abroad (they know who they are here) - or just one or two posters?

Gecko: "and Remainers are so wedded to money it's incredible"

Yes it is Gecko, my wife being an ex teacher has many remainer friends and all they do apart from slag off Boris is talk about where they've been on holiday, abroad i'd add - perish the thought they'd holiday at home and help our economy lol, and their wealth . I just smile and keep quiet.

UK retail sales climb back to pre-pandemic levels.

Clearly a short halcyon period before the shock of Brexit.

But if it's on the BEEB it must be lies . . eh?

Alphorn is also the idiot that thinks Currency speculation(buying ££) is more patriotic and showing more optimism in Britain's future than buying actual "hard assets" like agricultural land.

Bizarre.

Clearly Alphorn is a troll.

Cheshire,

Alphorn is always successful, never made a bad turn.Never had a failure!
Alphorn is also a liar.

Money really does bring in the worst in people - and Remainers are so wedded to money it's incredible.

They must lead very shallow lives.

I talk tosh? Please, indulge us, provide us with the rationale as to why it is tosh.

It is truth which some of you don't like hearing. I inject your fantasies with reality.
