25/5/2020 17:09 | It was not a curfew, so no law broken. | gotnorolex
25/5/2020 17:06 | Too many news programmes, too many news papers, not enough news. Watching them drag out this Cummings trivia right now on TV. A five minute issue dragged out so boring. I think Cumming's mystique and power will be much diminished from now on. | ![]() careful
25/5/2020 17:01 | How many times are the lefty media prepared to end up with egg on their faces before they start asking questions of themselves, they're pathetic! | utrickytrees
25/5/2020 16:59 | Cummings will stay, Boris will stay, We'll get over COVID and stronger. We'll get out of EU no deal and prosper. | ![]() cheshire pete
25/5/2020 16:50 | An entirely reasonable and satisfactory statement from Cummings. | ![]() grahamite2
25/5/2020 16:44 | Playing a blinder...go on Dom...stuff them. | ![]() cheshire pete
25/5/2020 16:39 | Stand firm Dom...good man. | ![]() cheshire pete
25/5/2020 16:32 | Note cheshire - not me this time inferring that you are half sane. Lol | ![]() alphorn
25/5/2020 16:31 | He has to go ...Cummings that is...Boris has lost his senses to support this behaviour.. | ![]() hernando2
25/5/2020 16:29 | m2 - paranoia is an understatement - these guys here are losing their marbles. It is not obvious what DC expects to gain from this speech. Boris hocked his reputation yesterday so all to lose. That is why DC is doing it - a gambler. (Will watch and learn!) | ![]() alphorn
25/5/2020 16:29 | And it does no good whatsoever saying cummings is the subject of a witchhunt. That is just silly non-analysis and an admission of bamboozlement rather than anything half sane. | pierre oreilly
25/5/2020 16:28 | It's not really a firm line Graham - I want Boris to survive, and I think for that cummigs has to go and he has got to stop defending him. I want the tory party to survive - all this is fodder for lab/liblab/nulab/old I'm not saying sack him because i don't like him, i'm saying sack him to protect boris and the party. But boris may be beyond saving even now. Most tories imv want people to face the music if they have misjudged, they want equity and fairness. | pierre oreilly
25/5/2020 16:25 | Boris and Cummings must not succumb to the horrendous witch hunt by our left wing media. They have to make a stand. | ![]() cheshire pete
25/5/2020 16:15 | Everyone, yes everyone without exception, knows cummings did something massively and obviously against the spirit of what was required. No. They do not. I don't even know what "the spirit of what was required" means. I almost always agree with you, Pierre, and I'm surprised to see you taking such a very firm line on this. A lot of people I respect think, like you, that Cummings must go, but I incline very much to the "non-story blown up by pro-EU anti-Conservative media" view. | ![]() grahamite2
25/5/2020 15:56 | The welfare of your child plus thousands of other children? | pierre oreilly
25/5/2020 15:55 | It matters not one jot whether he was within the law or not. Re brexit, when cummigs gets the boot or resigns, then Boris can still chat to him every night to get his thoughts on what to do. The situation is so very obvious here, I think many are simply in denial, or rather know what's coming but prefer to post the opposite to bolster their tory standing. I'm a pretty ardent tory, and a very pro boris supporter up to a couple of days ago, now i'm just a supporter. And i support cummings and think his advice is sound. But these figures have to stand, and have to be seen to be standing, more proper and upright that us. Everyone, yes everyone without exception, knows cummings did something massively and obviously against the spirit of what was required. Everyone. The debate is really about, having done that, should he get the boot. I think yes, others can think no - but what is surprising is the deception of making out he did nothing questionable. That's why boris is in danger of going - he's defending the wrong bit, that's what gets up people's noses, they, and i, thought boris wasn't like that. Cummings making a speech this pm - if not the end, it will be the start of the end. | pierre oreilly
25/5/2020 15:35 | And what is more essential than the welfare of your child? | ![]() maxk
25/5/2020 15:29 | Here's why he acted within the law. National policing guidance to officers confirmed the arrangements around self-isolation guidelines and reiterated the appropriate advice around "essential travel" | gotnorolex
25/5/2020 15:00 | The paranoia of these Little Englanders is truly shocking. | ![]() minerve 2
25/5/2020 14:50 | Boris do not blink! | gotnorolex |
