08/4/2020 18:14 | From Brexit Watch Tonight's tempting tea-time treats This evening we have a bumper issue as we have today published four powerful articles that highlight just how serious are the problems now being faced by the EU following the Coronavirus pandemic. Be it the health, business, financial or strategic responses the EU is being found wanting – and yet there are some that argue we need to extend the transition. Our articles explain why the reverse is true, so please read on. These are very challenging times indeed and we especially send out our heartfelt thoughts and best wishes to our Prime Minister, his partner Carrie and his family. The brexit-watch team. Brexit-watch.org EU not bearing gifts: how the reported £50bn aid to UK business is no such thing - by Ewen Stewart Using the EU Commission website as the source, it is clear the claim by some in the media that the EU is supporting British business is, to use a technical term, baloney. 08/4/2020 17:49 | My toms are coming up great. First time i've grown them for yonks was last year, after several years of them getting blight (everyone's around here, such a cruel disease, just on the day you want to pick them, they develop horrible flat brown areas). A mate got a blight free variety, and they emerged blight free and i got given a few of his crop. Saved the seeds last year and got a great blight free crop. Same again this year from seeds saved from last years crop. Planted in Halos, which are amazing. | pierre oreilly | |

08/4/2020 17:13 | "US intelligence warned of Cataclysmic Coronavirus ciris as impeachment dominated headlines" If only the US intelligence community hadn't gone to war with Trump "six ways from Sunday," and were instead operating in alignment with the sitting President, this emerging threat would have been dealt with sooner. Perhaps if the NSC and the Democrats hadn't been distracted with a partisan boondoggle to remove Trump, measures could have been taken earlier to better prepare America from the emerging threat. | crossing_the_rubicon |
