03/4/2020 11:09 | They say the DOW has another 30% to drop yet. If that's accurate then lloy could be under 20p by then. I suppose it may be possible in a world where so many companies are quickly becoming junk status. We take for granted that there will always be water in the pipes ,electricity and internet . Couldn't happen could it ? | ![]() mitchy

You have to be unemotional in analysis, otherwise emotional do-gooders end up mass murderers knocking 3 months of 70m people's lives. There are plenty of other examples of emotional do gooders imposing millions of deaths on people. The thing is, it does take a little bit of logical thought to understand what is written, unfortunately, you'll think I'm mad because you are incapable of logical thought and dominate by emotion. | pierre oreilly
03/4/2020 11:08 | "According to my accountant, if I buy 3 cars, 2 vans, go on a couple of trips, claim for my petrol, phones, insurance, MOT, tyres, work clothes, a few nice meals out.... I made £2k profit last year." Profit? Suggest changing your accountant! When you're self-employed (properly, not a company employee) a loss can be set against profit in the following year. 03/4/2020 11:05 | Yes Alp, instead of boringly stating 'quality of life' I like to use an analogue such as no bog roll to represent quality of life and leave others to extapolate. Most don't of course, and wonder why i go on about bog rolls. | pierre oreilly

03/4/2020 10:54 | PO - you could add 'quality' of life. However to give people that quality of life it needs individual discipline (and common sense). | ![]() alphorn

03/4/2020 10:51 | This morning the IHS Markit/CIPS UK Services PMI was revised lower to 34.5 in March 2020 from a preliminary estimate of 35.7, signalling the fastest downturn in service sector activity since the survey began in July 1996. New orders dropped at a record pace amid the Covid-19 pandemic, with new business from abroad falling even more due to international travel restrictions and widespread business closures across Europe. The important key piece of information is the drop in business from abroad. A precursor of any abrupt end of the Transition period. See GBP move. | ![]() alphorn
