Some of my neighbours run SLs and Mclarens on NHS money. That simply cannot be morally right. Personally I don't know how they can sleep at night. One of them runs a GP practice and thinks he is a businessman. No risk in that I'm afraid. A protected market with the rewards of a high-risk startup. Complete risk/reward dysfunction at the taxpayers' expense.

this just shows how much we rely on the NHS, there has to be a total rethink on the money they are paid, you think we would have massive staff shortages if they earned a decent wage ? it has to be reviewed and massively increased....

I am fed up of the attack on dividends and the plight of people that are totally reliant on their investment income to live off. There has been no attempt to support people by the government that are in this situation. Everybody else whose income has been impacted has been covered by the furlough arrangements or other handouts and means of support. I can see no reason why it should be different for those reliant on dividends. I have started a petition and if you feel as strongly as I do and wish to sign it, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can forward it to others that would also be appreciated and post on other boards that you own shares in.

Thanks

Gary

I think the nurses deserve more. They are the ones delivering the care and all the hard work. My neighbours are consultants and are out jogging, jet-washing their drives and walking with their families during this crisis. I think people need to realise that some of the NHS have it dead easy and others, especially A&E and the nurses, are in a different life and are taking the brunt of this. When you clap or consider the NHS just remember this distinction. Many are just snouting in the trough at the nurses' expense.

Graph looking ominous, a lot of ramping posts going on when in fact the worse is still to come, as for this lock down being over soon I don't see that for a long while yet looking at China is now seeing infections starting a 2nd wave, Trump is the one putting out fake news as well with his back to work in April & railroading over journalist's because the question doesn't suit his plan,

still far to early to buy anthing yet & don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
