01/4/2020 15:28 | Recon the bankers will be wanting extra cash injections from existing share holders now that the current bail out prohibit them to buy back their own shares! Even my previous thought of a possible 3rd rights issue at 25p/28p might be a tad expensive! See if 20.10p can be reached. Cheers | high value chips

01/4/2020 15:24 | Sorry folks but I fear this in the next week or so may drop to mid 20's now folk are not getting a divi and not knowing how banks will stand if people and companies cant pay their way. Clearly the message is by cancelling payouts that banks are going to have to have as much money by them to deal with any fallout if this stays on for any length of time. However, the money men must think we are a better bet than Europe, £to€ now 1.1375. Was €1.06 just a week or so ago. | chavitravi2

01/4/2020 14:44 | Yes ignoble I remember '74 very well. I'd sold Ernest Scragg (?Davis, remember him - Observer recommendation) which went bust, and bought EPC (English Property Corp.) which doubled in about 2 weeks. The story was that several institution bosses had breakfast together and decided to all go on a buying spree and that was the end of a very savage bear market. | pherrom
