01/4/2020 13:17 | Have the bonus pools based upon 2019 results been paid out already? I think that a poster intimated that they had not. | alphorn

01/4/2020 12:58 | Some very surprising data on this country by country data over the years. You click on a country to review their data. Often rates are not going in the direction that one would expect at all. I was surprised. edit: it also underlines the huge number of annual deaths. | alphorn

01/4/2020 12:52 | Poikka, yes, boris will always get criticised whatever he does, and always will, as will every future pm. You seem to think because of that fact, we shouldn't criticise him when he is bamboozled into doing something wrecking 70m people's lives, and bankrupting them all. ffs. look at the uk today. House arrest? That isn't tory policy. The measures taken are compatible with a virus of such potency that if you came within 2 m of anyone carrying it, you would be 100% certain to die. That would make these measures sensible. But no, we find ourselves isolated, many alone, most desperate, most scared, most with no real income, savings trashed, and the certainty imo that the currently fit and healthy will die prematurely from the stress caused, and all that for a bug which many get and don't even notice, many get and have minor symptoms, s a few get quite ill, and those on deaths door are unfortunately pushed over the edge. And there's growing evidence all over the place that that is the true situation. If you don't think that is an overreaction to some dying a month or so before they otherwise would, and we shouldn't post such things because boris is always criticised, then what do you think we should do? Stand by and watch many fit and healthy and tyoung top themselves or otherwise die prematurely while having our whole world shrunk to our living room? wtf, can't you see it's a google order of magnitude overreaction. I know of one person dead of covid due to unfortunate circumstances starting when his chemo was stopped, and unfortunate events after that. No thoughts for those with cancer who no longer get treatment, and therefore many of those sentenced to death? It's effin madness. | pierre oreilly

Far safer are those companies that rely on repeat spending. Utilities basic consumer staples(Unless they run out) Tobacco Drugs. and if Inflation finally is coming, Gold (or Gold miners) Wont be long before money held in ones bank account gets haircutted imo a la cyprus | crossing_the_rubicon
