very scary.
talk in todays business press about recent trends where 'Mondeo man' has traded up to BMW's and Mercedes, Audi by using car leasing.
They are handing their keys in because they cannot afford the monthly repayments.
Lloyds are heavily into lease finance.

Also B.T.L. property. some parts of the country have invested heavily to provide rental property for overseas students.
they will be sent home and already some universities are in financial trouble and are making academic staff redundant.
If this thing goes on property will crash, further damaging Lloyds.

Universities have become an important industry for overseas students.
Car companies closing production, universities, property, airlines, pubs and many other industry.

A serious situation all around.

careful : Spot on ! If the so-called 'great' British public have anything to do with it this crisis will go on far longer than 3 months. I live on the coast and this w/e you wouldn't believe the crass behaviour ..they think it's holiday time! We were relatively isolated down here until this w/e 's invasion. Don't these people realise the local medical infrastructure won't be able to cope ? the answer probably is that they do but just don't care ...until they catch the virus of course..

Amazon Prime scam warning: 'Only way' to prevent fraud effectively - how to reduce risk

AMAZON PRIME scams have unfortunately been affecting many, with fraudsters

purporting as team members of the company in a bid to gain access to online

banking details. With scam calls predicted to increase amid the coronavirus

pandemic, some tips have been shared on how to reduce the risk of falling victim.

Scammers can be incredibly convincing, with the impact on victims not only being

emotional, but sadly financial too. In recent months, fraudsters have posed as

Amazon Prime team members in an effort to scam victims out of money.

In January this year, Action Fraud warned about numerous reports of this worrying form of scam.

Between October 1, 2019 and January 16, 2020, the National Fraud Intelligence

Bureau (NFIB) identified 571 reports of Amazon Prime-related Computer Software

Service Fraud.

The scam involves victims receiving an automated call, during which they're told

that they have been charged for an Amazon Prime subscription.

They are then subsequently instructed to "press one" to cancel the transaction,

and when they do this, they are directed to a fraudsters posing as an Amazon

customer service representative.

London & Scotland have their fair share of idiots who will disregard anything from a Tory government. They are Morons. Sturgeon has done her bit today to quell the idiots it's a pity Corbyn doent get behind Boris's measures in cross party co operation. Then again hes a prize idiot.

I'm seriously concerned, scared and worried for Londoners. I don't think the government have transferred the serious message they need to. Boris's dad has not helped at all. Where have the top scientific and medical advisors gone? Why are we now given obedient puppets? He keeps on mentioning bringing in the right things at the right time. He has constantly remained reactionary and not where he needs to be and that is being proactive. He doesn't need to wait to see results, the computer models are good enough for that. Boris is hoping the whole thing doesn't get contained. It gives him and Brexit a political get-out. I'm sorry to say this, but it is obvious and the facts are there for all to see. He has every opportunity to get ahead of the curve and makes poor excuses and then thinks it is moral to value the right of someone to walk in the park against someone's life.

Chimps can't stay at home for a day, never mind a full week or a month. They constantly need to be entertained. They don't have the wherewithal to read a book or involve themselves in gardening or a hobby.

Super Sunday on Sky isn't happening: the UK male is seriously all at sea this afternoon.

LOL

Min., I’d like to know why public rights of way such as footpaths and bridle ways remain open. During F&M all were closed by order.

It should also be ordered that people remain at their principal place of residence. Unnecessary journeys to spread their smit to the rural areas.

No more trips to M&S either. Go online :)

Clear advice has been given. Follow it.

Indeed.

And this is why we have panic buying because so many thought the State would come to their aid.

One third positive are asymptomatic!!!

According to the South China Morning Post, which cited classified data from the Chinese government, as many as a third of the people who test positive for the coronavirus - also known as "silent carriers" - may show delayed symptoms or none at all.

The data show that 43,000 people in China tested positive by the end of February, but had no actual symptoms, the newspaper reported. They were quarantined and monitored, though as we noted last month,

"in a radical change in how China is underreporting the severity of the disease, asymptomatic cases aren’t included in China’s tally of those infected with the virus" <-----------------------Anyone still believe any Chinese numbers?
