Dow Gives Up Gains After Worst Day in 12 Years
Stocks’ early gains faded Tuesday, throwing into doubt their recovery after a stunning selloff Monday hit major indexes with their biggest one-day declines since the financial crisis.

Thanks for the figures, must make all the staff feel great especially the ones who are to lose their jobs!

wends - thanks for that reply. Not only were those factories closed but the machinery was sold off too. It makes it very problematic to rebuild from scratch and a big question whether cost effective.
Regarding the current share price I am optimistic that there will be some economic encouragement in the budget tomorrow. However, the Lloyds domestic strategy and IMO the almost certain downturn to come does not look good.
(I am still long the shares and hold LLPE).

Mr. E - "minimal prostate cancer in India...turmeric …"

Nah, they just don't live long enough to get it - 67 against 74 UK; either that or their prostates come out with the vindaloo.

Always look on the bright side of life, tralala.

a more realistic 60P a share would mean £4.8M just for antonio.

Avreage house price is £200k - ish. So a new house every fortnight.

basically the directors are being paid 46M shares for 2020's incentive plan.

A 0.7% dilution to the existing shareholders, just for the directors.

Alph : Not an Express reader . used to buy it in the '60s when Peter O'Sullevan had a column ! My opinion ..based upon 'The Four ' not being prepared to pay more in to the EU budget following UK departure . Fact is EU countries have been in competition with UK manufacturing since the '70s. Just travel through the former Black Country and the Midlands. Former factory sites levelled to be replaced by shopping malls, hotels and entertainment complexes . Mind you the Brits didn't help with mind numbing strikes ! Culturally I love visiting Europe and have many friends there ..rest assured I mam not a 'Little Englander'....whatever that might mean. At the end of the day whatever economic grouping a country is in there is 'no such thing as a free lunch'! Re-establishing an industrial / engineering research base will take time. It's the latter aspect that I really bemoan. Switching to Lloyds what's your take on the current SP?

I didn't say snake oil/turmeric/garlic/the green green grass of home/urine/anything else you can think of doesn't aid health. I said there's no scientific proof (afaiia) which says they have large effects on the body, and furthermore, if they did have large effects on the body, they'd be declared as drugs and their sale controlled.

Don't see much controversial with that.

You live your life according to what woman's own tells you, I'll do what science proves effective. Each to their own. One man's poison and all that. Disappointed in your reaction Mr elbee.

Funnily enough tricky I've done it along with Vinndication.

I've taken Cilaos Emery and Not so sleepy in the 3.30, if you can ignore the last run of Not so sleepy then it's got to have a great chance, especially at 25/1 as was a really good flat horse and hurdles well.

Todays RNS re PDMR share holdings. So many huge figures I can't work out who's paid for what and how much...but seems an awful lot of shares issued!

"You can buy it in tablet form but it's expensive and not as good as the juice of fresh onion. Of course you have to have a juicing machine!

You could eat raw onion with cheese sarnies :)

How many Onions would you need to juice?

He didn't seem to attack Sturgeon then. No surprises there.

Even though she was probably feeding him tuna sarnies as encouragement.
