If onions and garlic were really the answer for so many ills, I rather suspect that their magic qualities would have been sussed by now.

No doubt that they contribute to our overall health, but I don't see it as being any more than that.

Everything in moderation.

k38, on a serious note so do I. We eat a lot of onions and nearly always some garlic (not overdone though). All good for you!

edit: are you a turmeric fan? Supposed to be good as well.

NHS England figures show that approximately 17000 people die each year of Flu.
COVID19 is expected to kill 350.

The herd mentality has cost thousands of jobs and will send hundreds of companies to the wall.

The press are the single most unscrupulous sector who are directly responsible for the current financial and medical rumour mill.. costing real people their livelihoods.

Well in the scheme of things they are testing hand over fist"

Why aren't they testing people flying in from Italy or Iran then?

That's flights still coming in from those countries as well as others....

And you think they're testing hand over fist.

Laughable.

And complacent.

In case people were wondering about the extent that UK are "testing" for Coronavirus,

FYI

We arent even testing people getting off a plane from Iran or Italy.

Shockingly lax.

Nothing to do with Saudi / Russia and the Coronavirus; let alone the economy?

You should have worked for British Rail.

So, are you saying to take extreme action and isolate millions of people and towns for something is not happening yet or may not happen at all at a scale of Italy.. that action will destroy UKs market!Boris is right. Step by step is the right way to deal with the virus.
