Where is the current Tory party manifesto?

Where is the mandate for everything they are currently doing?

This is an alt-right dictatorship ATM.

“German think tank The IFO calculates that, if the UK responds to a no deal with unilateral tariff reductions, Germany and Britain will both suffer a loss of GDP of around 0.5% – not the end of the world.
For Ireland, though, the hit would be 5.4%”

#EU threats (according to #Remoaners)
If we leave on #WTO terms #EU will:
Not sell us food
Stop selling us cancer meds allowing cancer patients to die
Stop selling us vet meds, killing our pets
Won’t tell us if we’re going to be killed by falling space junk

These are our friends?

"Anyone?"

Nope, no trade deals coming as Remoaners claimed...

"Trade agreements that have been signed"
Agreements with the following countries and trading blocs will take effect when the UK leaves the EU:

Andean countries
CARIFORUM trade bloc
Central America
Chile
Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) trade bloc?
Faroe Islands
Iceland and Norway
Israel
Liechtenstein
Pacific states
Palestinian Authority
South Korea
Switzerland

Mutual recognition agreements
Australia, New Zealand and United States have signed mutual recognition agreements.

Discussions with Japan are ongoing and will not be completed before exit day.

A mutual recognition agreement is one in which countries recognise one another’s conformity assessments. When conformity assessments are applied to products, they are tested to an established performance standard. Inspections, quality management, surveillance, accreditation and declarations of conformity also take place.

Corbyn policy is more predictable, at least there is a manifesto. ;)

Current government are just as bad as a Corbyn government would be IMO.

They are inept, pretty much all of the cabinet.

Re. 856, I agree that a big market fall is on the cards.

With the global economy as it is, my question is: why buy, other than gold?

Under the mattress sounds a good bet.

They have all been way-too-busy, in their potting sheds, building properties and DIY extensions, buying and renting out buy-to-lets, and playing golf to have little time to read broadsheets of quality and other quality journalism. A tabloid over a butty at lunchtime is the most you get and Question Time once per week.

Not good enough I'm afraid if you want to know true politics, economics and business.

Keir Starmer, the shadow Brexit secretary, said opposition MPs were more likely to unite behind a plan with “legal bite” that would see the House of Commons pass a law to stop a no-deal exit on October 31.

BOOM!

If MPs want to leave the EU in an orderly fashion they need to back the PM to get a new deal

There is another glimmer of hope for a Brexit deal: Boris Johnson is sending his top Brexit adviser to Brussels tomorrow, saying that the EU wants to get things done. As well they should. The PM’s charm offensive at Biarritz has shown them that he is a reasonable man, but he has also stressed that Parliament cannot stop Britain from leaving the EU on October 31 without a deal.

Whether this proves true or not we shall see; but what has certainly changed is that if Remainers do seek to engage in parliamentary chicanery, this is a Government that will fight back. Unlike Theresa May, Mr Johnson is serious about his exit date because he is serious about Brexit.

Careful - "This desire to become Americas puppet"

Actually, Boris has made it clear that any trade deal with the US WON'T be with the UK lying on its back with legs spread - unlike some posters on here.

Aside from that, I'd much rather be aligned with the US, where the population elects its leaders, than the EU...etc.

Without the US, the world map would look completely different, and not in a favourable way. We have a lot to be grateful to them for, and they have a lot to be grateful to the UK and the Commonwealth for.

And let's not forget that US Presidents come and go, in case anyone doesn't care for Trump's policies.

He's had his (JC) say again, and now he'll disappear until he thinks of another possible vote winner - then he'll crawl back into his pit again. What a toad he is, and always has been.
