So what if some of us are thick or old or both? What do suggest at next referendum....those over 60 or with a low IQ only have half a vote lol. In some societies age is linked to wisdom. Sooner be a thick leaver than an intelligent remoaner anyway.

Maxk, You won't get sensible answers as to the 'all brexiteers are thick' slur. Those who genuinely think everyone one of 17.2m iirc voters are thick are themselves very much lacking up top. There will be professors, doctors, nuclear physicists and road sweepers amongst that sample. Just as there will be with the remoaners, who aren't all as unintelligent as they are represented on here.

They say it to be a member of a club, knowing some other member will be along to back them up that 'all brexiteers are thick'. It makes them feel good. Most observers, whether remain or leave, will just realise they are weak and lacking by making such silly comments.

He's allowed to his opinions. Democracy works if you respect others opinions no matter how stupid they sound... ;))

The problem with holding out for a perfect Brexit plan is that you can’t fix stupid.

The question on the U.K. ballot is stated, "Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?"
The options will read:
Remain a member of the European Union
Leave the European Union

Why do so many remoaners get in such a tizz with that? Gpig keeps going on about a no-deal Brexit choice, others likewise simply invent the referendum words to cloud the issue.

I just wish the wording was tighter with a deadline of say 2 years. I suppose the more obstreperous anti-democrats could say it was implied we'd leave within a thousand years, but I understand in these types of issue the timings would be what a reasonable person would view as a reasonable time. That should limit how many extensions we could have, but I doubt it will.

I've been looking for ways in which we might open our minds to this Brexit phenomenon and came across this:

It's way before its time one might say, but your kids are going to LOVE it!

Where does the idea come from that most brexiteers are nutcases?

Can you offer any proof, or is it just wishful thinking??

We can't fix the leaks in Parliament but we have billions to waste on Brussels. Get rid of TM, JC and MPs now. Useless lot.
