Douglas Carswell put it to the people when he changed allegiance. But high principles of that order are not common among MPs.

They have already resigned the Labour whip - but agree they should all hold by-elections to be fair to their constituents. I don't think historically that does happen though. Did the Lib-Dems when they threw their hat into the Tory ring?

I don't agree with your notion that the 7 are all "right-wingers" who only used the LP to "advance" their careers though.

100% keyno. They are scum in my opinion. Using a Labour banner to get elected and then sabotaging their paymaster from the inside and actively undermining the cause that they were elected to fight for.

Gross misconduct I'm afraid.

In order to regain any respect, they should resign immediately and then stand as independent candidates.

Will they ??

What do you think ???

I hate the old tribal politics of Labour vs Tory. It has let down our country big time.

I agree with you Minerve....now let them all think of the Country, show some strength and get on board with leaving with an amicable deal. If Europe can't see that it is within it's best interests to keep us as a trading partner, then we shouldleave without a deal. I am certain, it will be a matter of weeks after the dust has settled that an amicable deal is struck. Barnier, Tusk, Juncker, Merkel, Macron, none of them want the wrath of their people blaming them for the demise of exports to their largest customer.

Anything less positive or silly second referendums will put us in Limbo for another two years.

Time these remainers started to realise that Europe is fine to have as an important ally and that trade with Europe will go on whatever happens on March 29th. We need to be our own master, the undemocratic Eurozone is on it's way out!!

Great customer service:

A customer who called a bank to apply for a loan was told "all vegans should be punched in the face".

The Bristol woman, who did not want to be named, went to NatWest for a loan to pay for a £400 nutrition diploma.

The application was rejected but after listening to a recording of the call, NatWest offered to pay for the course.

ROFLMAO!

She should have come to me. I would just write her the cheque just for that story.

Oh dear, I have just read they are not starting a new political party. Disappointing. Why the hell not? If someone starts a centrist group now they stand a good chance of doing things and going places if they set their stall out right.

I am actually pleased they have done it. Good for them. I will read what they have to say and stand for. Corbyn and May are both going to have to shift over the next few days or there will be more trouble.

Perhaps some in the Tory party should take Labour's lead. The sad Tories are trying to hold a party together with the Grand Canyon inbetween them. Pathetic bunch of losers.

Right wing self publicists who were using the Labour party to advance their own careers, good riddance I'd say, if I was a Labour man.

A nice tonic for the UK, a centrist independent group who are anti Brexit.

I admire their courage, disagree with their views, but I am over the moon that we are now getting the real take on just how far left and anti-semetic the Labour Party is.

The Gang of Four, all those years ago, were at least big names. This Gang of Seven consists almost entirely of nobodies.
