07/12/2018 19:04 | Not everyone lives in the UK as you know k38. Comfort, acceleration, handling in the mountains, carrying capacity etc. You mentioned expensive, not on my list. | ![]() alphorn
07/12/2018 19:00 | I am interested what look like a car from the driving seat.. with max speed of 70, the only thing left on an expensive car is the show off. | k38
07/12/2018 18:53 | Max - I have always been quite happy. Amongst lots had two Scorpios; one brilliant and one dreadful and just about everything was replaced under guarantee. The last one in the family was the new Mustang V8 convertible, pretty flimsy and awful road holding. | ![]() alphorn
07/12/2018 18:51 | Careful That's what some friends of mine say to me every time I change my car. I can effort to buy and support an expensive car but I am not a show of kind of a person. I use to drive a Ferrari for a while long ago. | k38
07/12/2018 18:49 | Except when they go wrong. Like a lot of modern cars, they cant fix them at a sensible price. | ![]() maxk
07/12/2018 18:43 | Fords are ok today if you are a hairdresser. They need to do something about their range and make them more interesting to look at; mechanically they have always been good. | ![]() alphorn

07/12/2018 18:34 | k38 Yes, it is amazing how we stick with our known brand. We get know the service facilities also. As you suggest what they call commoditisation has occurred, all cars are made to the same standards using the same methods. I was looking to replace my Mercedes and checked the Ford range. For the same spec, (about 2 ltr/ petrol /automatic) etc, the prices were similar. They were fine cars, but I will probably yet again buy Mercedes. brand image seems to matter. Ford cars are for the proles, that was Henry Fords original aim. Mercedes and RR are for people of superior standing. | ![]() careful
07/12/2018 18:28 | This will eventually become a great income stock....when it bottoms out I mean 👍🏼 | ![]() john09
07/12/2018 18:25 | I am a lover of Ford.. great cars, family friendly and no tax.. I replace them every 35000 miles. With today's technology the different in cars is just the name. | k38
07/12/2018 17:54 | goldfinger How has your pension fund managed to lose 40% in the last year? | ![]() maxk
07/12/2018 17:50 | the whole point about German cars is that they are the bast. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW we love them, strong brand loyalty. What clown thinks that we would happily switch to buying cars from elsewhere if we could not buy German? | ![]() careful
07/12/2018 17:39 | Mr Elbee...I live in New York and have always supported the GOP, but Trump is the worst president in living memory. A liar, a cheat, a hypocrite, a real snake oil shark. His reputation in NY is the pits, he has stiffed just about everyone. I don't know where you are getting your news from, but Trump is now losing the rust belt and midwest farmers. He still has the Rednecks and evangelicals until more expensive steel puts up the price of Pick up trucks, Guns. I have seen my 401K lose 43% this year and I am certainly not alone. | ![]() goldfinger16
07/12/2018 17:38 | After the previous incumbent that's hardly surprising. | ![]() patientcapital

07/12/2018 16:37 | Jacko talks a lot of sense but he has no knowledge or understanding of the United States whatsoever. Trump is fairly certain to be re-elected. Of course, part of the reason is nothing to do with Trump - it is the Democratic Party committing suicide, which it is doing with great dedication. | ![]() grahamite2
