I mean that so called legal immigration, giving visas to thousands related to students and others and to replace those leaving after Brexit, was part of the Tories ambition to turn the UK into Singapore of Northern Europe.

Not talking about illegals but legals. There are far more of them.

I wonder if we really understood what was going on that was Brexit related.
'Controlling our own borders' meant that we were free to let in to the UK whoever we wanted to come.

You must study the numbers to fully understand this.
They encouraged these legal migrants, it was all part of their plan.
The expression 'control our own borders' was very appealing to the voters.
They misunderstood what it really meant.

You must at least be honest enough to admit that if what I say is true, you were conned by the whole Brexit exercise.

I see almost 70000 asylum seekers have been granted asylum a record over the past year.
According to the home office.
What annoys people is the taxi service they are offered.

The RNLI was one of our most popular charities.
But when we see them in the high tech life boats offering a luxury taxi service to the rubber boat gangs it annoys most of us.

When they advertise for donations on TV they keep quiet about most of the money being spent offering this taxi service.
It is bound to encourage others to come.

RNLI are destroying their brand which has been built up over centuries.

Nigel is making a fortune telling his followers want they want to here.

UKIP was his first big money making wheeze.
Tell them that the hated Germans, boo hiss, are running our country and also we should take control of our borders.
...They will be eating out of your hand, simple souls.

Now on to Reform, after the success of his Brexit campaign which has caused a surge in immigration from outside of the EU, he now tells them that we should control immigration.

...The little poodles love that, their little tails are wagging again.

What next?

With Isreal most likely succeeding only in doubling the radical numbers of the future, the only question now is:
Wil Iran attack for a window before US carrier 2 arrives and then be diplomatic for a few more weeks lol

Sunak was ok.
better than most recent Tory leaders which is not a big compliment.

But he was in an impossible position.
The Tory part membership who have big influence over who rules this country are the real threat to democracy.
They even decide policy with the power to de select. They are sentimental old patriots. about 160,000 of them and they still think that the UK is a major World power.

They love the useless Boris, think he is great.
Say what you like about Sunak, we must be forever thankful that he helped to remove Boris. The membership hate him for that.

I see one of the prominent front runners for the leadership is promising to bring Johnson back, no doubt to gain the support of the Tory Party membership.
They are nowhere near electable yet.

Starmer will become a formidable PM who is quite prepared to support his people (his Dad was a toolmaker you know), and the greedy self serving Tories will pay. Get ready for some pain.

There is no attraction to Farage. He is a rabble rouser appealing to the ignorant knuckle draggers we have seen cry in the courts.

Correct Scruff it's a bit like Rolls Royce sacking Warren East & replacing him with the head of HR OR Furguson stepping down for Moyes. Talents thin on the ground at that level.
