lol, a fascist mafia more like starkly exposed in their true awfulness for all to see, even the most blind and blinkered remainers.

We don't see the EU putting COVID positive patients in care homes. We don't see the EU killing opportunity for students to study. We don't see the EU limiting freedom to travel, live and work. We don't see the EU sending back Windrush invitees to once ruled colonies.

Yes, sharing and caring.

Oh, the truth must hurt so-o-o-oo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o bad!

"A bit early to be on the happy juice Min, even for you."

Keep on sinking to the depths of other posters I see.

100,000+ deaths tells you all you need to know about the 'care of Boris'. ;)

Perhaps Soriot should not be playing the "look at me, aren't I great" and over promising and under delivering.

Obviously the man hasn't got a proper understanding of his business.

Let's see the contract. I bet the EU are right.

The EU would like access to the UK's supply of vaccines made in the UK, what should they have done? Answer: engage with the UK government. What did they do?

What if the tables had been turned? We'd have been rightly turning on our Government, which under the circumstances might have collapsed.

The EU Commission knows full well that it too should resign, hence the panicky smoke screens.

Resign, collapse, not fussed which.

Would you rather be managed by a sharing and caring EU?

It was a "best effort" contract...

However, AstraZeneca has not helped its case with what Brussels sees as indifference. In an interview with Italy’s La Repubblica newspaper, CEO Pascal Soriot effectively told the EU to calm down. Soriot said that his company only committed to meet demand to its “best effort” and added that the delays were due to startup issues in the European production sites. “Unfortunately, it’s really bad luck,” he said.

Because he is a waste of space. Not many Little Englanders in Scotland.

But let him go, everytime he goes up and opens his mouth Scots are more likely to vote with Nicola.

Would you rather be managed by a sharing and caring EU or a bunch of spoilt Eton boys and corrupt capitalists.

Erm, difficult one that!

LOL!

Peter Wookey 29 Jan 2021 8:54AMRemainers said the EU was an organisation for peace and harmony. It is in fact evil. The EU commission could have signed the deal with AZ 3 months earlier than it did, at the time the UK did. Had it done so, the production facilities in the EU would be up and running, as they are in the UK. There is no way that British citizens should pay the price of EU incompetence. The way this mafia organisation is treating a company that is selling them vaccines for no profit is shocking. It is driven purely by an attempt to deflect  blame for their ineptitude. We should review all our supplies of everything from the EU and ensure we protect ourselves from their blackmail and strong arm tactics. ... All the EU immigrants were very hard working too. Perhaps more to the point: people from Hong Kong are unlikely to take trades jobs and be too competitive for the Little Englander trader boneheads and they are more likely to vote Tory.
