Absolutely agree.

Being tied to "a level playing field" (ie UK implementing their social/economic policies effectively) is not LEAVING the EU.

Being tied to ECJ supremacy is not leaving the EU.

Having our fishing tied to the EU (ie maintaining status quo) is not leaving the EU.

We voted LEAVE

The EU are trying to overturn a British democratic vote to leave the EU.

We need to walk, then levy tariffs on German and French produce. And make them eyewateringly high.

mitchy, any share price guessestimate on Lloyds needs to attempt to factor in whether they
will need a rights issue to navigate this downturn.

If they don't, then somewhere near recent lows may be a decent longer term
buy point. I'm not holding any atm.

Sound advice a year ago because we could be buying back today, to late now you'd lose real cash when you sell today.

What with Brexit ,Covid , U.S election and their market being over valued it's not looking good. This market might take serious dump.Good Luck.

Maybe you need to change your numbers? Sell the ones you've got and buy some new ones perhaps. That sounds a bit daft, I know , but what have you got to lose ?

The Great ResetBy JOHNREDWOOD | Published: OCTOBER 15, 2020I have no problem with the idea of building better or investing in a better future, but I do have problems with some of the agendas drawn up in the name of the Great Reset. The problems of the past were not brought on by taxing enterprise too lightly or by being too generous to the self employed. We did not have too many large companies offering better new goods and services, and we did not have too many people working hard and investing their time, energy and capital in serving us better. We needed more of both, a need that has just been intensified by the damage done to both by the lockdown measures. Taxing work, enterprise and success more is a bad idea. Many of the great advances in living standards and quality of life have come from the innovation and enterprise of the private sector. It was not government effort that launched billions of smart phones and electronic pads on the world. It was not government which provided the cars to liberate many more people with flexible personal transport, or supplied the great entertainments of stage, screen and events. It is important that as we build back from lock downs these gains are banked and enhanced, with broadening of reach to ever more people. When the agenda proposes taxing and regulating the very products of the digital revolution and the transport revolution that have offered to the many the freedoms and advantages that used to be the preserve of the few I worry that build back better just becomes a cover for more state control over our lives.

Tend to think we might be heading back to lower 5000s on the 100 with domestic stocks the worst affected.
Pretty depressing outlook this Winter now Covid is getting a hold. Could be wrong and shares often run counter- intuitive. Bit I'm nearly all in cash right now.

Apart from the big wins (5k and above), does ERNIE only pay out in £25 wins now?I think in all the years I have held them I have had one x £100 win. All the rest have been the first tier wins. £50 then reduced to £25.

I don't think the share price is really going anywhere in the short term. Though i'm not sure what the market will make of tomorrows promised 'final' day of brinkmanship for Doris and the European Ununion.
