All political decisions impact this share.
No divi - day to day flu cases similarly impact.
Or did u not realise how we shareholders are suffering.
Invested Alifish?
And BTW - we know nothing other than what is in the media!

So what are we to conclude with regard to the UK Govt's failure to get the awful French to stop illegal immigrants from leaving their shores for UK? What message does it send out to Barnier as he tries through stealth to keep us shackled to the EU?

He'll be thinking we're a soft touch with no bottle to walk away without a deal.

A fair comment
And the responsibility - of course - for the failings lies with the CS HO FO - for these are responsible for the day to day workings - or not it seems
The Gov merely endorses.
Has labours HR act so empowered the unentitled that they can demand what they want from the raft in the channel.
NO newspaper carries that challenge as to what really went wrong under Labour. just screw BJ.
A very boring media!!!

Richard Heaton20 Aug 2020 5:51PMThe only thing Boris & his clowns have got right since December is not giving that s.it Bercow a peerage.Everything else has been the wrong decision or/at the wrong time.    Voted for a Churchill got a Chamberlain, government's actions to date make Hapless May look quite competent! Can't have it both ways, they want us to get out & back to work & schools but too many mixed messages & still spreading project fear.    Happy to threaten us with fines for breaking CV19 'law' but can't be bothered to stop illegals down in Dover & even escort them to 5* hotels.    All CON Virus 19 law needs to go NOW.One word sums them up - SHAMBOLIC.

One nation fell apart when Labour created devolved authorities.
Each authority has MPs in HOC and also their own members.
One NS decides to do her own thing - there is no one nation.
drakeford does his -
One nation - no - because there is no acceptance of the concept by the devolved authorities and then the mayoral mayhem
Whoever thought that devolved authorities would result in better government.
just as the Select coms set up by T Bliar - just try to destroy - cos they can.
And the Quangos - cameron said he would burn them - more false words.

How negative I have become.
I would love to be happy like a Brexiteer.

Dreaming of British greatness and Victorian times.
Nelsons navy, the Dam busters and the Raj.

If only we could send a gun boat down the river as before, like Brexiteers believe.

I have tried to think like a Brexiteer but can't, I am thinking of having my brain removed, I am sure it will help.

I like the bit in your piece above that said an American government sponsored Agency helped them invent the internet.
What a bloody cheek, it was an Englishman who invented the internet.
Sir Tim Berners Lee, a quiet modest Oxford professor.

But the Yanks do claim these things.
But they know how to market them.
Steve Jobs and his I Phone, American ingenuity, (actually he was Syrian mostly).
Bezos at Amazon, (actually he is.......)

This article is over optimistic about the UK. and its potential

Everyone racing to catch up with Korea and China on 5g.
Who would have thought it.
They are all at it, India, China, Russia, Korea...too much competition.

There is a great levelling up going on, we shall all end up being paid the same.

JL5006: Right Wing? Conservative values used to exemplify a "one nation" inclusiveness that started to disappear with Maggie constantly asking "Is he/she one of us?" Things got worse when the coalition muddied the water and moved right ever since. If there was any sense in the Tory Party, instead of pandering to old farts and pocket liners we would not be in the current mess. BoJo is just a weak cipher of a PM who is blown about by any crony in for a buck.

Can u demonstrate how this Gov is a right wing Gov.
Would you then categorise Labour as the Marx/stalin lot.
If only BJ was a bit bolder - he is but the middle tory - then there would be a concern.
The media is without the right to simply put out anti Gov content - why do you think that there are so many MSN seemingly running around like headless chickens.
Why? Bcos they watch the BBC/SKY and believe the rats on Twitter etc.
This cannot continue and haeven help the would be doctors when they get to Med School with their Teacher grades - guess brain surgery will be easy course.
