15/6/2020 12:33 | grahamite2 Don't be such a Silly Billy, if the EU argument of removing the chance of war is a correct one then it would take many years if not decades to see whether this is true and even then it would be difficult to compare situations. It is a weak argument and wasn't the primary argument of Remainers who are more concerned with the real and immediate effects a Hard-Brexit would have on business, the economy and rights. It shows us what trash you read. | minerve 2
15/6/2020 12:33 | They havent meant much at this level as long as I can remember. I suspect that the number of small time retail traders like us muddy the real picture somewhat | scruff1
15/6/2020 12:32 | It is worrying when a popular newspaper thinks that it has to run something like this. Crazy. "Save Sir Winston! Sign the Mail online petition urging Boris Johnson to publicly promise that Churchill's statue will NEVER be torn down". | alphorn
15/6/2020 12:19 | Remember the days when buy/sells actually meant something in the market, more buys would move price up and visa versa, now look, MM's just ripping everyone off, but their 'mates'.... | aljm

15/6/2020 11:27 | It would make a change from blaming everything on brexit. | maxk
15/6/2020 11:21 | M2 #452. There is a scenario where a hard Brexit is buried in the news. The economic recession just becomes worse and everything is blamed on the pandemic. | alphorn
15/6/2020 11:13 | mm2 - you have some sort of blind faith. The future is more exciting than any soap opera. Both Cummings and Gove have questioned their own sight too and go for a drive to test it out. How do you test your own sight? | alphorn
15/6/2020 11:12 | The PM that has lost all credibility with EU leaders after backtracking from the withdrawal agreement. He has lost most of his domestic political capital after his disastrous managemen of the covid crisis. Johnson is weak. The EU will make no concession on the level playing field. They will keep rejecting the UK cherry picking approach. They will squeeze the UK as much as possible. This is not a negotiation of equals. I have strong doubts that Johnson's world beating negotiation skills will make miracle. We will again have a last minute agreement, a pyrrhic victory that Johnson will try to sell as an amazing deal that frees us from the EU diktat and in reality throws us into the arms of the US and China. | minerve 2
15/6/2020 11:10 | Coming so soon after Covid I don’t think the country will forgive hard Brexit. Maybe the far right “football lads” who think BJ is their man but that’s about it .. | minerve 2
15/6/2020 11:07 | mm2 "Why should you be bothered?" Why should YOU be bothered? | minerve 2

15/6/2020 11:01 | Alp, Yes, all down to Brexit. I believe we will be better off after a good clearout. Why should you be bothered? | mikemichael2

15/6/2020 10:55 | "Boris Johnson will push for rapid progress in future-relationship talks with the EU on a call with the bloc's chiefs on Monday" - FT Oh go on then, after the past few days I could do with a good laugh. "Brussels warned it would not sacrifice its economic interests for the sake of a deal." - FT Crikey. Not sacrifice the interests of 420 million people for some small breakaway state led by a blonde turnip having a little temper tantrum. How very unsporting and unexpected. Good thing our Great Leader is prepared to sacrifice the economic futures (and now apparently lives based on his performance the past few months) of his own 67 million people by bravely breaking off negotiations, otherwise I'd be super worried or something. | minerve 2
15/6/2020 10:54 | mm2 - "We won, you lost". That is why, no doubt, that the UK economy and GBP goes from strength to strength. You must be an Express reader to believe that gumpf. | alphorn |
