#488. Fantastic news - why don't you suggest it. Wonderful.

Not long to wait as I have posted elsewhere. The huge £225bn UK loan offering over the next 3 mths will have to IMO make the June/July deadline decision clear to avoid getting sued and taken to the cleaners.

chris du mello-kenyon 24 Apr 2020 2:56PMWake Up Barnier .... the UK position on fisheries, the level playing field, their ECJ, our NI and the rest was laid out in detail by Frost in the first instance and by our negotiators over and over in the second, third and infinitum subsequent instances thereafter. We really haven't the time or the desire to dance this waltz any further with the EU ... break off discussions, let them get on with sorting out their own problems while we can escape without providing more of our money to bail them out.

ROBERT POLATAJKO 24 Apr 2020 3:00PMIt is time to tell them all to forget any further "negotiations".It should be as clear as day that the EU and the French do not negotiate - they threaten, bully and blackmail, but are simply not interested in negotiations. It is time to cut short this farce and exit this phoney war transition without a deal.A clean, complete Brexit. The EU is a busted flush, an authoritarian, bureaucratic, protectionist organisation not fit for the 21st century and the end of globalism, the rebirth of the nation state.Concentrate on building trading relationships with the USA, the Anglosphere, Asia.

"We've been looking for a dog for months"

I rest my case.

Pets generally attract morons.

We've been looking for a dog for months, all the rescue centres and dogs homes have is thug dogs,Staffies and pitbull crosses !! Anything decent is either reserved or gone!

Same with pups for sale, again any 'normal' breed has gone in minutes and for at least £500 upwards.

The first para on PPI final report. Firms still have claims to process, as at Nov 2019.

"This report reviews the impact of the 29 August 2019 deadline for new PPI complaints and the 2-year consumer communications campaign that preceded it. It closes our project work on the PPI issue and outlines how we will continue to ensure that firms complete their handling of the remaining PPI complaints fairly."

It must be so embarrassing to be a sensible American and see this man represent your country.

It is with Boris and the UK.

The contrast between the press conferences of Cuomo and Trump is stark.

In one, you get a serious, solemn hour of facts, wisdom and a tough but realistic outlook.

In the other, you get an entertaining but unserious hour of lies, quack medical advice and a panglossian vision of the future.

One of them could probably have run the country at this difficult time; the other you wouldn't trust to run a bath...

SKY is really bad IMO. It's non stop begging and it must cost a fortune for advertising. I now record what I want and replay speeding through the ads.
