During the week ending April 17, 4.43 million more Americans filed for unemployment. The pandemic has now erased all jobs created since the 1930s depression.

Uncle arthur
"sub 20p anyone"..

I've been drip feeding into LLoys & Barc, < 30p & < 90p respectively... I think Lloy & Barc will go to low 20s & low 80s at some point as it's early days to accurately assess the impact of Covid19 on the economy...

I have RBS on my watchlist but they haven't reached my buy in price yet..

A patron saint's day should be celebrated.

Interesting to look at the origins of the various patron saints. St George was selected as England’s patron Saint in 1350, by King Edward III. He may never have set foot in England but his name was popular among European knights. There is some history to back up that he did exist and he is likely to have been from the East, a soldier somewhere in the eastern Roman Empire.

He is also the patron saint of Ethiopia, Georgia and Portugal, and cities such as Freiburg, Moscow and Beirut.

Can you believe it?Early action. Greece has just 2400 cases and only 121 deaths. Mind you, their hospitals are not the best in Europe yet this is the best results in Europe when comes to virus. Germany has nothing to teach us except, look after yourself and f#ck the rest.Thank you BBC.

'On the Northumberland coastline, James and Debra Bolam are hoping to raise £10,000 to see The Cottage Inn through the lockdown.

The pub in Dunstan village relies largely on passing holiday trade through the summer season.

"The lockdown has come at the worst possible time," said Mrs Bolam, 55. "We were fully booked up on our rooms from mid-March through to June'

Minerve...you are washed up, put a sock in it. It isn't anybody on this board's fault that you lost all that money backing Woodford.

It wasn't Boris told you to buy those losers.

Now simmer down and eat a few more pies, you have to keep your strength up if you are emigrating to Romania. If you have any dosh left, I hear Greggs is a good share for fat c*nts like you.

ROFLMAO

The trouble is people keep answering his posts and so he just carries on being stupid.
If he has no replies he might go back to bed.

Tony Blair was just a little Englander trying to finish what the crusades started. A religious zealot wearing a transparent lefty suit of armour as a disguise. A man blinded by his beliefs and will find someway of convincing himself he is right on everything he does. No remorse.
TBF new labour was a relief from the infighting of a tired Tory government running out of ideas, but then they got too full of themselves and bankrupted the country as they always do. Funny how the likes of the Kinnocks a Blairs are uber-rich. Go figure.
