best thing i would suggest, forget about them, come back when all this is disappearing, you should have a nice surprise, if you are out for a quick buck, maybe not so good, long term share, there are a LOT worse,

Hi all I'm a newbie to shares etc so forgive my ignorance I took a plunge yesterday rightly or wrongly on Lloyd's and bought at 29.80p. About 5k worth nothing much . My assumption was as they paid back the money the government lent them then they must know what their doing and secondly if things really hit the fan the government would be more willing to bail them out again ??? Don't shoot me down just a layman's logic . Anyone with any sensible views ? Cheers, chris
